What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to get that most guests are either here for COEX events or using this as a base to explore Gangnam, so they’re incredibly helpful with directions and timing advice. The rooms are solid – nothing groundbreaking, but they’re clean, reasonably spacious for Seoul standards, and the beds are actually comfortable, which honestly isn’t always a given in this price range.

Here’s the thing though – and this might sound weird – but the hotel has this efficient energy that somehow doesn’t feel rushed. Maybe it’s because so many guests are business travelers who know what they want, or maybe it’s just good management, but check-in was smooth, the elevators aren’t constantly packed, and even during busy conference periods, the lobby doesn’t turn into complete chaos. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me because it’s not trying to be flashy or luxurious – it’s just doing the fundamentals really well in a location that’s hard to beat. If you’re planning to spend serious time at COEX or you want to be in the thick of Gangnam’s business district without paying Gangnam luxury hotel prices, this place hits that sweet spot where convenience meets value.
