The breakfast isn’t going to blow your mind, but it’s hearty Korean fare that’ll fuel you for a day of exploring, and they accommodate dietary restrictions without making it feel like a huge inconvenience. The location works well if you don’t mind a short subway ride to the main tourist areas – actually, I kind of preferred being slightly removed from all that chaos. You’re close enough to get anywhere quickly, but you’re staying in a part of the city where you can grab late-night convenience store snacks and see how locals actually live. For the price point and that solid 8.5 rating it’s earned, Gamsung House delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
