Fraser Place Central Seoul Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Fraser Place Central Seoul? It’s one of those places that actually lives up to its name – you really are in the heart of everything here. I mean, when I first walked into the lobby, I was honestly expecting another generic business hotel situation, but there’s this surprisingly warm, residential feel to the whole place that makes it clear they’re going for the extended-stay vibe rather than just cramming in as many tourists as possible.

The serviced apartment setup is where this place really shines, and I get why it pulls an 8.7 rating. The rooms – well, they’re more like proper apartments – have these full kitchens that aren’t just for show. I’m talking real counter space, decent-sized fridge, actual cookware you’d use. Which honestly saved me a fortune since eating out in Seoul every single meal adds up fast, even though the food scene is incredible. The living areas are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living on top of your suitcase, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable for what could easily be stiff hotel furniture. There’s this attention to detail in the furnishing that feels more like someone’s well-appointed apartment than a cookie-cutter hotel room.

What I really appreciated – and this is something you only notice when you’re actually staying somewhere, not just passing through – is how quiet it stays despite being so central. The windows do a solid job keeping out the Seoul street noise, which can be pretty intense depending on where you end up. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing too; check-in was smooth, and when I had questions about getting around the neighborhood, they gave me actual useful directions instead of just pointing vaguely at a tourist map. Location-wise, you’re walking distance to some fantastic local spots that aren’t just the obvious tourist traps – there are these little side streets with hole-in-the-wall restaurants and shops that you’d probably miss if you were staying somewhere more removed from the action. The subway access is solid, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to explore different districts without spending half your day in transit. It’s the kind of place that works whether you’re in Seoul for business and need a proper workspace, or you’re doing the tourist thing and want a comfortable base that doesn’t feel like you’re camping out in a hotel room.

Great central location, could easily walk to the subway station, numerous convenience stores and cafes, and about a 15-minute walk to Myeoungdong. Spacious accommodations, bedrooms were large and comfortable and a nice living room and kitchenette.

The room was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Two single beds and still very spacious. Great kitchen amenities, and room service kept our room clean daily. Great stay! Staff were friendly and attentive, spoke great English too.

  • Kevin from Hong Kong (9/10)

Spacious apartment, well maintained and very friendly staff at the front desk. At first location seemed far and metro was a pain with all the stairs. Later found out best way to get around is via the bus Go for Naver maps and bus, very easy to get around. Klimousine stops are nearby too and easy to go to the airport.

  • Benjamin from Singapore (9/10)

Location was great-10 minutes walk to City Hall subway. Room was very comfortable- we were in a 1 bedroom apartment- with living room, cooking facilities and even a washing machine.
The staff were so helpful- I was even able to leave a luggage in the storeroom while we went on a side trip to Busan- their helpfulness really made my stay here even more enjoyable.

  • Sarah from United Kingdom (9/10)

Friendly & attentive staff, organised taxis for us and wrote destination on a card so we could confirm with the driver. The property is clean and in a great location. Fab coffee shop downstairs! Swimming pool and spa was great and empty! Don’t forget to take a swim cap for the pool.

  • Lijia from New Zealand (8/10)

The room is big and comfortable

  • Wei from Singapore (9/10)

The apartment was huge and amenities were adequate, including a washer dryer that helped A LOT. Love the space, the play room. Didn’t get to enjoy the sauna and pool but they do look awesome. Also conveniently located with bus stop right in front and a few metro stations a walkable distance away (abt 10mins walk)
