Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong
Your Seoul Retreat
You know what struck me first about Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong? It’s that perfect sweet spot where you get the reliability of a Sheraton without feeling like you’re stuck in some corporate bubble. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of one of Seoul‘s busiest shopping districts, but somehow the lobby has this calm, almost zen-like quality that makes you forget about the organized chaos happening just outside the doors.
The location is honestly what sold me on this place – and I’m guessing it’ll do the same for you. Myeongdong is where locals actually shop (not just tourists), so you’ll find yourself wandering down narrow alleys discovering hole-in-the-wall restaurants that serve incredible Korean fried chicken at 2 AM. The hotel sits close enough to Myeongdong Station that you can literally roll out of bed and be on the subway in about three minutes, which is clutch when you’re trying to hit multiple neighborhoods in one day. Plus, there’s something oddly satisfying about retreating to your quiet room after spending hours navigating the street food vendors and cosmetic shops that seem to multiply every time you blink.
What really impressed me – and this might sound weird – was how the staff handled the whole language thing. Sure, it’s an international hotel chain, but the front desk team actually knew their neighborhood inside and out. They didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map; they marked specific spots based on what I mentioned I was interested in. The concierge even warned me that the nearby traditional market gets absolutely packed on weekend afternoons (he was right), and suggested hitting it early morning instead. The rooms themselves are solid Four Points standard – clean, comfortable beds, decent wifi, and those little touches that make business travelers happy. Nothing revolutionary, but everything works the way it should. I actually appreciated that the bathrooms had both a shower and a soaking tub, because after walking around Seoul all day, your feet will thank you. The soundproofing is better than I expected too, considering you’re basically sleeping above one of the city’s main shopping arteries. You’ll hear the occasional late-night delivery truck, but it’s more like urban white noise than actual disruption. With an 8.6 rating, this place clearly knows what it’s doing, and honestly, after staying here, I get why people keep coming back.
Hotel in Seoul booking should be done early, especially during autumn foliage season when the city hosts internationally celebrated cultural events and festivals.

Guest Reviews
Lovely hotel, room was very pleasant with comfy beds, great view and everything you might need. Great location as well. Will come back to this hotel for sure!
Fantastic location. There’s an entry to the metro system directly across from the hotel. There is a Starbucks located at ground level also. Access to the hotel was great and the staff were super friendly and spoke great English. When we did require anything (engineer for a faulty switch, extra towels, steamer iron), these were promptly delivered and resolved.
Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.
Everything was great
Great location.
So very close to everything you could need during a seven night stay. Great local restaurants in the area. Very nice to walk to the stream area and so easy. Very close to the station, coffee and transfers. We will stay again. Our room was larger than I had imagined and always so clean and serviced. Very helpful front desk staff and very accomodating. A great location and this made our trip so enjoyable.
Water stations at every floor to refill water bottles.
Amazing location for sightseeing.
Reception staff were always extra helpful, going the extra mile to help guests settle in after long flights.
It was clean, friendly staff, perfect location. Hotel was right in the middle of Seoul, so this means everything was walking distance. Subway (line 2 & 3) is just a 30 second walk. I will 100% stay in Sheraton hotel again.
The breakfast buffet was phenomenal!
The location is perfect!
Close to Myeong-dong market and there is a train station in front of the hotel (Eulijio-3). Very convenience for traveling around Seoul.
Staff is friendly, and supportive. I enjoy this stay.
