Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong
Your Seoul Retreat
First Impressions
Walking into Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong, you immediately get that “this is exactly where I need to be” feeling. The lobby has this modern, polished vibe without being stuffy — honestly, it strikes the perfect balance for a four-star property in one of Seoul’s busiest districts. The staff actually seem genuinely happy to see you, which I know sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how rare that can be in some Seoul hotels. There’s something reassuring about checking into a place that feels both international and distinctly Korean at the same time.
Location Magic
Here’s the thing about Myeongdong — it’s tourist central, but this hotel sits just off the main drag on Samil-daero, which means you get all the benefits without the constant street noise. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Myeongdong’s famous shopping streets and street food stalls, but when you want to escape the crowds, you can actually do that. The subway connections are ridiculously good (Euljiro 1-ga station is right there), and I mean, couples consistently rate this location a 9.5 for good reason. You can walk to Dongdaemun, hop over to Hongdae for nightlife, or catch the airport express without any hassle.
The Rooms
The rooms are what I’d call “smartly designed” — they’re not huge by Western standards, but they use every inch thoughtfully. The beds are genuinely comfortable, and the bathrooms have those rainfall showers that actually work properly. What I really appreciated was the attention to details like proper outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block out Seoul’s neon glow. The city views from higher floors are pretty spectacular, especially at night when Myeongdong lights up below you.
Breakfast Experience
The breakfast buffet here is honestly better than it needs to be. They’ve got the American classics covered — decent coffee, eggs, bacon — but they also do Korean breakfast items really well. The kimchi jjigae was actually good, which surprised me since hotel Korean food can be hit or miss. It’s served on a decent floor with windows, so you’re not eating in some windowless basement situation. The variety keeps you from getting bored if you’re staying multiple nights.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Four Points by Sheraton Josun works because it gets the fundamentals right without trying to be something it’s not. The location score of 9.4 from recent guests tells the whole story — you’re in the heart of Seoul but not drowning in chaos. Having private parking in Myeongdong is actually a big deal if you’re driving, and the overall 8.6 rating reflects a place that consistently delivers what it promises. It’s the kind of hotel where you spend your days exploring Seoul and come back feeling like you made a smart choice rather than just settling for something adequate.
Hotel in Seoul booking should be done early, especially during autumn foliage season when the city hosts internationally celebrated cultural events and festivals.

Guest Reviews
Lovely hotel, room was very pleasant with comfy beds, great view and everything you might need. Great location as well. Will come back to this hotel for sure!
Fantastic location. There’s an entry to the metro system directly across from the hotel. There is a Starbucks located at ground level also. Access to the hotel was great and the staff were super friendly and spoke great English. When we did require anything (engineer for a faulty switch, extra towels, steamer iron), these were promptly delivered and resolved.
Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.
Everything was great
Great location.
So very close to everything you could need during a seven night stay. Great local restaurants in the area. Very nice to walk to the stream area and so easy. Very close to the station, coffee and transfers. We will stay again. Our room was larger than I had imagined and always so clean and serviced. Very helpful front desk staff and very accomodating. A great location and this made our trip so enjoyable.
Water stations at every floor to refill water bottles.
Amazing location for sightseeing.
Reception staff were always extra helpful, going the extra mile to help guests settle in after long flights.
It was clean, friendly staff, perfect location. Hotel was right in the middle of Seoul, so this means everything was walking distance. Subway (line 2 & 3) is just a 30 second walk. I will 100% stay in Sheraton hotel again.
The breakfast buffet was phenomenal!
The location is perfect!
Close to Myeong-dong market and there is a train station in front of the hotel (Eulijio-3). Very convenience for traveling around Seoul.
Staff is friendly, and supportive. I enjoy this stay.
