Dandelion Sinsa 1
Your Seoul Retreat
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Dandelion Sinsa 1, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But after spending a few nights there, I get why this little 3-star spot has managed to pull off a 9.5 rating. It’s one of those places where you can tell someone actually cared about the details instead of just throwing together another cookie-cutter hotel.
The location in Seoul‘s Sinsa-dong area is pretty sweet, actually. You’re right in the heart of Gangnam’s trendier side without dealing with the chaos of the main tourist strips. I mean, you can walk to some really solid cafes and those boutique shops that locals actually frequent – not just the obvious tourist traps. The neighborhood has this laid-back vibe during the day, but it comes alive at night with some fantastic Korean BBQ spots and bars that don’t feel like they’re trying too hard to impress foreigners.
What really struck me about this place was how they’ve managed to nail that balance between modern and comfortable without going overboard. The rooms aren’t huge (this is Seoul, after all), but they’re thoughtfully designed – everything has its place, and you’re not constantly bumping into furniture or struggling to find outlets for your devices. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and honestly, after walking around the city all day, that’s what matters most. The staff genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests were settled in properly, which you don’t always get at this price point. I noticed they were quick to help with local recommendations too – not just the standard tourist handbook stuff, but actual neighborhood gems they clearly knew well. One thing worth mentioning is that the area can get a bit lively on weekend nights, but it’s more of a pleasant buzz than disruptive noise. The building itself seems well-insulated, so even when there’s activity outside, you’re not lying awake listening to conversations from the street. Check-in was smooth – no unnecessary complications or surprise fees that seem to pop up everywhere these days. You know what really sealed the deal for me though? It’s those small touches that show someone’s paying attention – the lighting that actually works for reading, decent water pressure, and a neighborhood location where you feel like you’re experiencing Seoul rather than just visiting it.

Everything was really great! The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed bed was amazingly comfortable.
The room was new and clean. The staffs were super friendly and helpful in carry luggage, order food delivery, cleaning and all lovely and caring services . The water pressure is big , good for shower. All the rooms and living room having individual air conditioner good for Seoul hot weather.
Clean and new. Staffs are helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was located at first floor. Great for elderly and tourist with heavy luggage.
Clean place, perfect location, kind staff, reasonable prices.

The room and facilities are super new and clean especially the bathroom, it's rare to find a spacioe3us bathroom with separate shower room in korea.
Apart of the room itself, all staff were really nice and helpful
What I was looking for: 1. Good location, 2. Reasonable price, 3. Quiet and comfortable room for 3 people.
I got all of that.
The host was very helpful. He was available 24 hours. The room was very clean and strategic. Closes to everywhere. Easy to find. You will find everything you need there.
