Cozy Private Home Newly Renovated #3 Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Cozy Private Home Newly Renovated #3 honestly feels more like staying at a friend’s place than checking into a typical hotel. This three-star property in Seoul‘s Yongsan district has that lived-in comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find in the city. The renovation work is really well done — everything feels fresh and modern, but they’ve managed to keep that homey atmosphere that makes you want to kick off your shoes immediately. The attention to detail throughout the space creates an inviting environment from the moment you arrive.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s great about this spot? It’s tucked away on Sinheung-ro, which means you’re close enough to everything but not drowning in tourist crowds. Yongsan-gu is one of those areas that locals actually live in, so you’ll find proper Korean restaurant and convenience stores within walking distance. The location rating of 9.5 from recent guests isn’t just hype — couples especially seem to love it here, and I can see why. You’re well-positioned for exploring both traditional Seoul and the more modern districts without feeling like you’re constantly commuting. The neighborhood truly offers the best of both worlds for travelers seeking authentic local experiences.
The Space
The room setup is what really sets this place apart from your standard hotel experience. It’s designed like an actual home, which means you get proper living space instead of just a bed crammed next to a tiny desk. The renovation has clearly been thoughtful — modern fixtures, good lighting, and everything actually works properly. The whole place has this clean, minimalist vibe that feels very Seoul without being sterile. You’ll find the apartment layout incredibly functional for both short and extended stays.
Practical Considerations
What I really appreciate is how functional everything is. The wifi is solid, the heating works well (crucial in Seoul winters), and there’s enough storage space for longer stays. The building itself is quiet, which is honestly a blessing when you’re trying to recover from jet lag or just need a proper night’s sleep. The host has clearly put thought into the little details that make a difference — good water pressure, blackout curtains, and outlets where you actually need them. The kitchen facilities are well-equipped for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.4 rating really reflects what you get here — it’s not trying to be fancy, but it delivers exactly what it promises. The combination of the great location, the genuine homey feel, and the fact that everything just works makes it one of those places you’d actually recommend to friends. It’s particularly perfect if you want to experience Seoul like you live there rather than just passing through. The value is solid too, especially considering you’re getting a whole private space in such a well-rated location. This property represents an excellent choice for discerning travelers.

The host was super friendly and made sure to make me feel welcomed and safe! The location was in the heart of Seoul and could get anywhere by bus. The home was cozy and it gave me a sense of how “living in Korea” would feel like as I felt I was coming home every time I went out. The surrounding areas had everything I needed from multiple convenience stores, pharmacies, small supermarkets and few restaurants and coffee shops. Easy access to the bus !

The property is located in a nice area, not too busy so one can be assured for a good night sleep. The subway station is about a 20-minute walk away, and there are a few bus stations just a short walk away. You can pretty much get to anywhere in Seoul from here. Just behind the house, there's a lovely walking trail up to Namsan Tower and it connects to the Seoul City Wall Trail too. There are also plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby. The property is well-kept and the beds are comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He came a few times to check if everything was ok. Do take note that if you're traveling with heavy luggage from the subway station to the property, be prepared to walk up the slope and climb the stairs.

I stayed at this apartment in Korea with my two nieces, and we had a fantastic experience. The host was incredibly good and responsive, always ready to help whenever we needed anything. The apartment even has a sneak peek of the Seoul Tower, which was a lovely bonus, and there are plenty of shops nearby, making it super convenient. One of the highlights of our trip was trying to BBQ marshmallows, which accidentally led to us burning his chair (oops!). Despite this, the host was so understanding and didn’t complain at all, which truly showed his kindness. Overall, a great stay with a very accommodating and friendly host. Highly recommend!

First of all is the host amazing! He speaks fluently English, gave us tips for food and activities and he even gave us free keychains as a souvenir! The apartment is perfect. It has all the facilities you need (including free water). The location is also very convenient, it’s in the center of Seoul so you can just walk to some popular places like The Seoul Tower and Itaewon (both about a 20-30 minute walk). In conclusion, we had a very pleasant stay!

Nice, clean comfy, 1 hour from airport by taxi, 30 minutes from city centre by metro n bus Lots of markets, cafe restaurant, shops near by. Quite area. Only thing is very steep area if you have heavy luggage and solo traveller. But I advise you to contact owner of the property. He will help with your luggage. He is very polite and helpful.
