Cozy Private Home Newly Renovated #3 Overview
You know what really surprised me about Cozy Private Home Newly Renovated #3? The name honestly doesn’t do it justice – I was expecting something pretty basic, but this place actually feels like staying at your most stylish friend’s house, the one who has impeccable taste but doesn’t make a big deal about it. The renovation work is really thoughtful too, not just slapped together like some rental properties I’ve stayed in. Everything feels fresh and clean, but they kept enough character that it doesn’t have that sterile, cookie-cutter vibe you get in chain hotels.
The space itself has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – I mean, you can tell someone put real thought into how people actually move through a home. The kitchen is properly stocked (not just three mismatched plates and a broken coffee maker), and honestly, I ended up cooking more than I planned because everything was just so functional. The bedrooms are quiet, which isn’t always a given with residential rentals, and the beds are actually comfortable – you’d be amazed how often that’s not the case. What really got me though was the little touches: proper hangers in the closets, decent water pressure in the shower, outlets where you actually need them. It’s those details that make you realize someone who travels regularly set this place up.
The whole experience feels more authentic than your typical hotel stay, but without sacrificing any of the convenience. Check-in was smooth – none of that awkward key exchange situation you sometimes get with private rentals – and the 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there. It’s not trying to be fancy or over-the-top, just really well-executed comfort. I found myself actually relaxing instead of mentally cataloging everything that was wrong or inconvenient. If you’re the type who likes having a bit more space than a hotel room but doesn’t want to deal with the uncertainty that sometimes comes with private rentals, this hits that sweet spot perfectly. Plus, there’s something nice about staying somewhere that feels like a real home rather than a place designed primarily to extract money from tourists – though honestly, given the quality, the value is pretty solid too.

The host was super friendly and made sure to make me feel welcomed and safe! The location was in the heart of Seoul and could get anywhere by bus. The home was cozy and it gave me a sense of how “living in Korea” would feel like as I felt I was coming home every time I went out. The surrounding areas had everything I needed from multiple convenience stores, pharmacies, small supermarkets and few restaurants and coffee shops. Easy access to the bus !

The property is located in a nice area, not too busy so one can be assured for a good night sleep. The subway station is about a 20-minute walk away, and there are a few bus stations just a short walk away. You can pretty much get to anywhere in Seoul from here. Just behind the house, there's a lovely walking trail up to Namsan Tower and it connects to the Seoul City Wall Trail too. There are also plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby. The property is well-kept and the beds are comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He came a few times to check if everything was ok. Do take note that if you're traveling with heavy luggage from the subway station to the property, be prepared to walk up the slope and climb the stairs.

I stayed at this apartment in Korea with my two nieces, and we had a fantastic experience. The host was incredibly good and responsive, always ready to help whenever we needed anything. The apartment even has a sneak peek of the Seoul Tower, which was a lovely bonus, and there are plenty of shops nearby, making it super convenient. One of the highlights of our trip was trying to BBQ marshmallows, which accidentally led to us burning his chair (oops!). Despite this, the host was so understanding and didn’t complain at all, which truly showed his kindness. Overall, a great stay with a very accommodating and friendly host. Highly recommend!

First of all is the host amazing! He speaks fluently English, gave us tips for food and activities and he even gave us free keychains as a souvenir! The apartment is perfect. It has all the facilities you need (including free water). The location is also very convenient, it’s in the center of Seoul so you can just walk to some popular places like The Seoul Tower and Itaewon (both about a 20-30 minute walk). In conclusion, we had a very pleasant stay!

Nice, clean comfy, 1 hour from airport by taxi, 30 minutes from city centre by metro n bus Lots of markets, cafe restaurant, shops near by. Quite area. Only thing is very steep area if you have heavy luggage and solo traveller. But I advise you to contact owner of the property. He will help with your luggage. He is very polite and helpful.
