You know what? I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Comfy & Cozy, I rolled my eyes a little. I mean, every hotel claims to be comfortable and cozy, right? But honestly, this 4-star place actually lives up to its name in ways that surprised me. The moment you walk through the front doors, there’s this immediate sense of… well, being welcomed into someone’s really well-appointed home rather than just another sterile hotel lobby.

What really got me was the attention to those little details that most places completely overlook. The lighting isn’t harsh fluorescent nonsense – it’s warm and actually makes you look good in photos (trust me on this one). The common areas have these perfectly broken-in leather chairs that you can actually sink into without feeling like you’re sitting on cardboard covered in fabric. And the staff? They remember your name after the first day, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re dealing with travel exhaustion. I stayed here during what seemed to be a busy period, and even then, check-in was smooth – no long lines or confusion about reservations.

The rooms themselves are where this place really shines, and I get why they’re pulling a 9.8 rating. Everything feels intentional rather than just thrown together by some corporate design team. The beds are legitimately comfortable (not just hotel-comfortable, but like, you’ll sleep through your alarm comfortable), and there’s actually enough outlets near the bed for your phone charger without having to unplug a lamp. The bathrooms have good water pressure – I know that sounds boring, but you don’t realize how much you miss it until you’re standing under a weak drizzle somewhere else. Plus, they stock decent toiletries, not the watered-down stuff that barely lathers. One thing I particularly appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – I’m usually a light sleeper in hotels, but the soundproofing here actually works. You might hear some gentle hallway noise if people are being really loud, but nothing that’ll wake you up or keep you up.

  Very good location and room is big which is good for group or family. East access to restaurants and shopping and walking distance to subway. Too sad that we stay here for a night only. Will keep as our future accommodation if we get chance to visit seoul again

  Super convenient! Really the best location right in the middle of everything in Hongdae. There are many great restaurants very close by and even an excellent hair salon in the same building.
  Hansook and Bash were excellent hosts and gave great instructions and help. Totally deserving their excellent rating!

  Each room has the 3-in-1 USB-A to USB-C / Micro USB / Lightning Multi Charging Cable.
  You can log in Netflix if you want and YouTube is available on TV.
  Toothpaste, towels, washing machine and hanging rack, detergent, etc. are all available that you don't have to bring by yourself.
  Twin showers in the bathroom is unique (spacious for family with kids)
  The flat is just like what's shown in the photos.

  Comfy 4th floor: Spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms that could fit up to 7 people. All necessary gadgets available in room, luggage scale, BT speaker, hair dryer, charging cables in every room. Trash bags, towels, napkin/toilet rolls are available. Washing machine, big balcony and racks to dry your laundry. We felt like staying at home.
  
  Location of the property is very good as well, restaurants, cafes, and various shops are at your doorstep.
  
  Lastly, the owners are so nice. They answer message quickly. The checkin – checkout process is also well managed.
