Center of Seoul, Seoul National Univ, Boramae hospital two room
Your Seoul Retreat
First Impressions
The Center of Seoul, Seoul National Univ, Boramae hospital two room isn’t your typical hotel name — honestly, it reads more like a location description, which actually tells you everything you need to know about this place. This three-star property sits right in the heart of Gwanak-gu, and I mean right in the thick of things. When I first arrived, I was struck by how the building blends seamlessly into the residential neighborhood, giving you that authentic local vibe rather than the sterile tourist bubble you get with bigger hotels.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what really impressed me about staying here? The location is absolutely spot-on for anyone who wants to experience real Seoul life. Seoul National University is practically next door — I could hear the energy of student life buzzing around, which actually made the whole area feel vibrant and safe, even late at night. Boramae Hospital being nearby might sound odd as a selling point, but it’s actually reassuring, and the medical district means there are tons of 24-hour convenience stores and late-night eateries scattered around. The subway connections are solid too, though you’ll want to grab a T-money card because you’ll definitely be using public transport to explore the city center.
The Accommodation
The two-room setup is what makes this place special — it’s like having your own little Seoul apartment rather than just a hotel stay. Each room has its own character, and there’s enough space that couples (which apparently love this place according to other guests) can actually spread out and relax. The furnishing is simple but thoughtful — clean lines, good lighting, and everything you actually need without unnecessary frills. I particularly appreciated the floor heating system, which is such a Korean touch that makes those chilly Seoul mornings much more bearable.
Daily Life & Practicalities
What struck me most was how easy it became to slip into a routine here. The neighborhood has this wonderful mix of university students, hospital workers, and local families, so there’s always something happening but it never feels chaotic. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving, but honestly, you won’t need a car in this location anyway. The local markets are fantastic — I found myself stopping by the small grocery stores and street food vendors that cater to the university crowd, which means good food at prices that won’t shock you.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.5 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen — you can feel why people rate this place so highly the moment you settle in. It’s the kind of place where you’re not just visiting Seoul, you’re actually living in it for a few days. The staff clearly understands that travelers want authenticity over comfort, and they’ve created something that feels genuinely Korean rather than internationally generic. For couples especially, there’s something really appealing about having your own little Seoul base where you can cook simple meals, plan your days over coffee, and come home to a space that actually feels like home rather than just another hotel room.

Guest Reviews
We stayed near Sindaebang Station, just an 8-minute walk to Line 2, which provides direct access to Seoul’s major tourist destinations.
For the price in Seoul the accommodation was well equipped with everything for a long or short stay. The host was very attentive and accommodating especially for those new to Korea. I liked that the room was two bedrooms and near to both subway and bus to connect to further parts of Seoul.
