Center of Seoul, Seoul National Univ, Boramae hospital two room Overview
Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first saw the name Center of Seoul, Seoul National Univ, Boramae hospital two room, I thought it was one of those awkwardly translated listings you sometimes stumble across on booking sites. But you know what? After staying here, I actually get why they named it that way. This place really is smack in the center of everything that matters if you’re doing anything around Seoul National University or need to be near Boramae Medical Center.
The location is honestly pretty brilliant – you’re walking distance from SNU’s main campus, which means you’re surrounded by all those great student-friendly restaurants and late-night spots that locals actually go to, not the touristy places in Myeongdong. I mean, the whole Gwanak area has this buzzing energy, especially in the evenings when students are out grabbing dinner or studying in cafes. There’s this little street food vendor about two blocks away who makes these incredible hotteok that I kept going back to – the kind of find you only make when you’re staying somewhere real people actually live and work. The two-room setup worked out perfectly for my trip; having that separate space meant I could spread out my work stuff in one room and actually relax in the other. The rooms themselves are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but everything you need is there, and honestly, the beds are more comfortable than some four-star places I’ve stayed at in Seoul.
What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night, despite being so centrally located. I was expecting noise from the nearby hospital or university traffic, but the windows must be decent quality because I slept really well. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where someone clearly cares about the details. Check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about getting to a specific building at SNU, the host actually drew me a little map showing the shortcuts that students use. You can tell this isn’t some corporate-run property; it feels more like staying at a friend’s place who happens to know the neighborhood really well. If you’re in Seoul for medical appointments at Boramae, academic stuff at the university, or just want to experience a more authentic side of the city away from the main tourist zones, this spot hits that sweet spot of being convenient without feeling sterile. Plus, the subway connections from this area are actually better than I expected – you can get to most places in the city without too much hassle, though I ended up walking more than I planned just because the neighborhood itself has so much going on.

For the price in Seoul the accommodation was well equipped with everything for a long or short stay. The host was very attentive and accommodating especially for those new to Korea. I liked that the room was two bedrooms and near to both subway and bus to connect to further parts of Seoul.
