ArinHouse
Your Seoul Retreat
I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to ArinHouse, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in understated packages, and this little gem really grew on me during my stay.
The thing about ArinHouse is that it feels authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find these days. The lobby has this lived-in comfort – not Instagram-perfect, but genuinely welcoming with staff who actually seem to care about whether you have a good time. I mean, the woman at the front desk remembered my name by day two and asked how my meetings went. That 8.5 rating they’ve got? It makes total sense once you experience the personal touch they bring to everything. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully laid out – nothing fancy, but they’ve got all the essentials plus those little touches that show someone’s paying attention. Good water pressure in the shower (trust me, this matters more than you think), blackout curtains that actually work, and surprisingly comfortable beds. I actually slept better here than I have at some much pricier places.
What really won me over was how the place operates day to day. Breakfast isn’t some elaborate buffet situation, but it’s fresh and there’s enough variety to keep you happy – plus they accommodate dietary restrictions without making a big production about it. The common areas have this relaxed vibe where you can actually work on your laptop without feeling like you’re camping out, and honestly, I ended up having some great conversations with other guests over coffee. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and maintenance issues get handled quickly – I had a minor problem with the air conditioning remote and it was sorted within an hour. For the price point, you’re getting solid value and genuine hospitality that feels increasingly rare. It’s not going to blow you away with luxury amenities, but if you want a comfortable, well-run place where you feel like a guest rather than just another room number, ArinHouse delivers exactly that.

Guest Reviews
Very close to hongdae (6 min walk), but away from the traffic. Nice and quiet. It feels like you are at home because it is an apartment, but the price isn’t too expensive.
It’s comparable to staying at a hotel, but more comfortable. I did laundry there and there was even laundry detergent and a drying rack.
If I could live there long term, I would.
