I stayed there during what I’d guess was a pretty busy period, and they still had time to chat about local spots that aren’t in every guidebook. The rooms themselves are clean and thoughtfully put together, not fancy exactly, but everything works properly and feels intentional. You know how sometimes hotel rooms feel like they were designed by someone who’s never actually stayed in a hotel? This isn’t that. The lighting is warm enough that you don’t feel like you’re in an office, and honestly, the beds are more comfortable than they have any right to be for the price point.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – it’s quiet. Not dead-silent-in-an-eerie-way quiet, but you’re not going to be kept up by hallway conversations or street noise. I’m someone who usually travels with earplugs just in case, and I didn’t need them here. The whole place has this calm energy that I think comes from good management rather than luck. Small things matter too – the WiFi actually works throughout the building, there’s decent water pressure in the shower, and they don’t make check-in feel like a bureaucratic process. I’ve noticed that places with ratings this high sometimes get a bit precious about their reputation, but Again House feels more focused on just doing the basics really well. It’s the kind of place where you might extend your stay an extra night just because leaving feels unnecessary, which is probably the best compliment I can give any hotel.
