Yanghwa stay Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Yanghwa stay? The moment I walked in, it felt like someone’s incredibly well-designed apartment rather than your typical hotel lobby. I mean, this is a 3-star place, so I wasn’t expecting anything groundbreaking, but honestly – the attention to detail here surprised me in the best way possible.
The rooms have this minimalist Korean aesthetic that actually works (not the sterile kind you sometimes get). There’s this warm wood paneling that runs along one wall, and the lighting is soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re in a hospital, but bright enough to actually read without squinting. The beds are firmer than what most Americans are used to – I actually loved it, but fair warning if you’re expecting that squishy hotel mattress experience. What really got me was how quiet everything stayed, even on weekends. The walls must be properly insulated because I barely heard my neighbors, which is honestly rare these days.
The staff here actually remember your name after the first day, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. They’ve got this little coffee station in the lobby that’s available 24/7 – not fancy stuff, but decent enough that I didn’t feel the need to hunt down a café first thing every morning. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or surprise charges when I settled up. The whole place feels like it’s run by people who’ve actually stayed in hotels themselves and know what’s annoying versus what matters. With a 9.5 rating, I was skeptical it could live up to the hype, but honestly? It does. It’s not trying to be something it’s not – just a really solid, comfortable place to stay that gets the basics right and throws in some thoughtful touches that make you want to come back.
To book hotel in Seoul during the vibrant cherry blossom season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts K-culture enthusiasts and modern travelers from around the world.

Reviews of Yanghwa stay
Magister from France (10/10)
