It’s a 3-star place, but honestly, it punches way above its weight class with that impressive 9.2 rating, and after spending a few nights there, I totally get why.

The whole vibe is just… comfortable. Not in that generic “we have nice beds” way, but genuinely welcoming. The lobby has these warm wood accents and soft lighting that makes you want to settle in with a book, and the staff – they remember your name after day one, which is rare these days. My room was smaller than what you’d get at some chain hotels, sure, but everything was thoughtfully arranged. The bed was legitimately cozy (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s something about the way they’ve done the lighting that makes even jet-lagged me look decent in the bathroom mirror. Little touches like that matter when you’re traveling.

What really won me over though was how quiet it stays, even when they’re fully booked. The walls are actually solid – you’re not hearing every conversation in the hallway or your neighbor’s TV. I slept better there than I have in hotels costing twice as much. The breakfast isn’t fancy, but it’s fresh and filling, and they actually make decent coffee, which honestly makes or breaks my morning. Parking was straightforward too, no circling blocks or paying ridiculous daily fees. Look, it’s not trying to be some luxury resort with a million amenities you’ll never use – it’s just really, really good at being a comfortable place to stay. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need, and the 9.2 rating tells you other travelers feel the same way. If you want somewhere that feels more like staying with a friend who has great taste than checking into a corporate hotel, this is your spot.

  Everything is perfect. Quite neighborhood, all facilities top notch. During winter, the heater only felt at living room, room a bit cold but doesnt affect our stay at all. Location wise a bit far from anguk station about 10mim walk but a lot of aesthetic cafe, restaurant, cool stores and places around the area.

  The location was awesome absolutely loved hanok village. The hanok was charming very clean and had a beautiful mixture of traditional and modern features.

  The authenticity of the hanok. It was perfectly placed in the beautiful village. Pretty easy to find.
  The hot tub was great but note it takes around 40-50 minutes to fill up! Awesome projector.

  This was exactly as it appeared in the pictures – beautiful interior, with the exposed wooden beams and lovely sliding doors, as well as the modern bathrooms etc, and the lovely courtyard outside. Getting there was easy – we were sent the entrance code and detailed instructions on how to get there on the day, which were really helpful. Good A/C, good wifi, there was a projector and sound system so we could watch a film on the big screen. Really quiet area at night, with lots of restaurants. Lovely bathtub, and bathsalts provided. I enjoyed having the tea they provided out in the courtyard with breakfast in the morning.

  i really loved the location basically in the heart of a really popular area, cafes, shops, restaurants and other Hanoks to see. A short walk to many palaces and the metro was just down the road.
  
  The hanok itself was really nice, it still has a very traditional feel, with a really tasteful modern touch.
