Sujeongjang Inn
Your Seoul Retreat
You know what caught me off guard about Sujeongjang Inn? I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, honestly, but there’s something refreshingly straightforward about it that I actually appreciate. The moment you walk in, you get this feeling that nobody’s trying too hard to impress you – and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re tired from traveling. The lobby has this lived-in quality that feels more like staying at a well-kept family home than some sterile hotel chain. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting you settled, not just processing you through check-in, which made a difference after a long day of exploring.
What I really liked was how quiet it gets at night – you can actually sleep without earplugs, which is saying something these days. The rooms are clean and functional without being fancy, but honestly, that worked for me. I mean, you’re not coming here for marble countertops or a rooftop pool, but the bed was comfortable and the shower had decent water pressure (trust me, you notice these things when you’ve stayed in enough places). The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, which isn’t always a given, and there are enough outlets near the bed for all your devices. Little things like that show they understand what travelers actually need.
I’ll be straight with you – it’s not going to blow you away with luxury amenities or Instagram-worthy spaces. The 7.1 rating feels about right; it’s solidly above average without being exceptional. But sometimes you want a place that just does the basics really well without charging you extra for a bunch of stuff you won’t use anyway. The housekeeping is thorough, the common areas stay tidy, and I never felt like I was dealing with any of those annoying hotel quirks that can ruin your mood. If you’re the type of traveler who spends most of your time out exploring anyway and just needs a reliable, comfortable base to crash at night, Sujeongjang Inn delivers on that promise without any drama. It’s one of those places where you check out feeling like you got exactly what you paid for – and in today’s world, that’s actually pretty refreshing.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Seoul at least two months ahead for major events like K-pop concerts and cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular attractions.

Guest Reviews
The manager was nice to me all the time, she always helped me
room ok as a base for a night
Very easy check in. Good location with easy access to public transport and restaurants. Relatively large room.
It’s great for the price I paid . Washer and dryer helped as I stayed for over a week. Rooms are small but it’s great for a solo traveler. Convenient location to travel because it’s closer to subway station.
I kike because it's cheap
Fine for a short stay.
Close to the station and good value.
You get what you pay for! It did its job, a place to sleep and leave your things. Easy to check in, nothing unexpected, AC worked fine.
Is good price for short stay
It's in a nice and quiet area and the bed is at least softer then most others in Korea.
