Stay in memory #Lotteworld #seokchon lake
Your Seoul Retreat
You know what caught me off guard about Stay in memory #Lotteworld #seokchon lake? I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a place with hashtags in the name – seemed a bit gimmicky at first. But after spending a few nights there, I actually get why they branded it that way. This place is all about those Instagram-worthy moments, and honestly, they deliver on that promise better than most hotels trying way too hard to be trendy.
The location is what really makes this spot shine. You’re literally a stone’s throw from Lotte World – I mean, you can hear the roller coasters from some of the rooms, which sounds annoying but is actually kind of charming once you get used to it. The real gem though is how close you are to Seokchon Lake. I’d wake up early (jetlag, you know how it is) and walk around the lake before the crowds hit, especially during cherry blossom season when the whole area looks like something out of a postcard. The hotel staff actually told me the best viewing spots around the lake, which felt like genuine local advice rather than the usual tourist spiel. What surprised me most was how quiet the rooms stayed despite being in such a busy area – they’ve clearly invested in decent soundproofing.
The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star place, but with thoughtful touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. The bathroom setup is particularly well done, with this rainfall shower that honestly made me not want to leave in the mornings. Check-in was smooth, though I arrived during what seemed like a busy period with families heading to Lotte World. The front desk staff switched between Korean, English, and what sounded like Mandarin effortlessly – definitely helpful given how international the area gets. I appreciated that they gave me a room facing the lake without me even asking, though I’m not sure if that was luck or just good service. The 9.0 rating makes total sense when you add up all these small details that work in your favor. If you’re planning to hit up Lotte World or just want to experience that whole Jamsil area vibe without staying in some massive chain hotel, this place hits the sweet spot between location and personality.
Exploring Seoul offers visitors an unforgettable journey through South Korea’s dynamic capital, from its historic Joseon palaces to its futuristic districts and world-renowned Korean entertainment culture.

Guest Reviews
Private self-checkin. Easy access to property. Just like a home (2 BHK flat)!! We booked the entire place (two rooms) which seemed to be the best deal one can get. Not so sure when you just book one room and have to share with strangers booking the other one.
