Stay in memory #Lotteworld #seokchon lake
Your Seoul Retreat
First Impressions
Walking into Stay in memory #Lotteworld #seokchon lake, you immediately get the sense that this four-star place knows exactly what it’s doing. The apartment-style setup in Songpa-gu feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a typical hotel — which, honestly, is exactly what makes it work so well. There’s something refreshing about having your own space while still getting that polished hospitality experience. The building itself sits quietly on Samhaksa-ro, and you’d almost miss it if you weren’t looking, but that’s part of the charm.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about Songpa-gu — it’s one of those Seoul districts that locals love but tourists often overlook, and that’s actually perfect for this place. You’re literally walking distance from Lotte World (hence the name), which means you can hit the theme park and then retreat to your peaceful base without dealing with the chaos of staying right in the thick of things. Seokchon Lake is right there too, and I mean right there — morning walks around the water become this unexpectedly meditative start to your day. The subway connections are solid, so getting into Gangnam or Myeongdong takes maybe 20 minutes, but you get to come home to this quieter pocket of the city.
The Space
Room #102 feels more like a small apartment than a hotel room, which couples absolutely love — and honestly, the 9.0 rating makes total sense once you settle in. There’s actual counter space for your coffee in the morning, a proper seating area where you can actually relax, and storage that doesn’t require Tetris-level skills to use. The design strikes that sweet spot between modern and homey — clean lines but not sterile, you know? What really got me was the attention to small details, like having enough outlets in logical places and blackout curtains that actually block out the light.
Practical Perks
The free parking is honestly a game-changer if you’re planning to explore beyond Seoul — most places in the city charge a premium for parking, so this saves you real money. But even if you’re not driving, the location scores an 8.3 with recent guests for good reason. You’ve got convenience stores within a two-minute walk, decent restaurants that locals actually eat at (not just tourist traps), and that peaceful lake access I mentioned. The whole setup just works for people who want to experience Seoul without feeling like they’re camping out in the middle of a tourist circus.
Why Guests Love It
This place gets couples because it offers something that’s surprisingly hard to find in Seoul — space to breathe and actually enjoy each other’s company. You’re not cramped into a tiny room, you’re not fighting crowds every time you step outside, but you’re also not stuck in some remote suburb. It’s that perfect balance of being connected but not overwhelmed. The high ratings come from guests who appreciate having a real base to return to after long days of exploring, rather than just a place to crash. When you can make coffee in your own space and look out at Seokchon Lake in the morning, Seoul starts to feel less like a place you’re visiting and more like somewhere you could actually live.
Exploring Seoul offers visitors an unforgettable journey through South Korea’s dynamic capital, from its historic Joseon palaces to its futuristic districts and world-renowned Korean entertainment culture.

Guest Reviews
Private self-checkin. Easy access to property. Just like a home (2 BHK flat)!! We booked the entire place (two rooms) which seemed to be the best deal one can get. Not so sure when you just book one room and have to share with strangers booking the other one.
