The neighborhood has this lived-in feel with actual Korean restaurants where you’re not surrounded by other travelers taking photos of their bibimbap. I found myself grabbing coffee at this tiny place around the corner most mornings, and the owner started recognizing me by day three – that kind of thing just doesn’t happen when you’re staying in the super touristy areas. The check-in process was smooth, no weird hidden fees or confusing policies, and they actually gave useful recommendations when I asked about getting to specific spots. Plus, the WiFi actually works properly throughout the building, which… well, you’d think that would be standard everywhere by now, but it’s not.
