Space in Blackstone – Foreigner Only
Your Seoul Retreat
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Space in Blackstone – Foreigner Only, the name alone had me curious. It’s got this sort of mysterious, almost sci-fi vibe that you don’t usually see in hotel names, and honestly, that’s exactly what drew me in. The “foreigner only” part is pretty straightforward – it’s clearly designed for international travelers, which actually creates this interesting multicultural atmosphere that I wasn’t expecting.
What really struck me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between modern comfort and genuine character. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be some over-the-top luxury experience, but everything just works really well. You know what I mean? Like, the Wi-Fi actually delivers the speeds they promise, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and the shower pressure is solid (trust me, these things matter when you’re jet-lagged). The whole setup feels thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together, which you can tell the moment you walk into the lobby. There’s this clean, almost minimalist aesthetic that somehow still feels warm – lots of natural light and these interesting art pieces that look like they were chosen by someone who actually cares about design, not just filling wall space.
The staff here really gets it too. Since they’re specifically catering to international guests, everyone speaks excellent English and they’re genuinely helpful with navigation and local recommendations. I mean, they actually know the neighborhood well enough to suggest the good coffee shop three blocks down instead of just pointing you toward the tourist traps. The 9.6 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s one of those places where the little details add up to something pretty special. The rooms are spotless without feeling sterile, and they’ve got these blackout curtains that are an absolute godsend if you’re dealing with time zone changes. Plus, the building itself is quiet enough that you’re not listening to conversations through paper-thin walls all night. What I appreciated most was that they seem to understand what international travelers actually need – things like universal outlets, a decent workspace if you need to catch up on emails, and enough space to actually unpack your suitcase without feeling like you’re playing Tetris. It’s the kind of place where you can tell they’ve thought about the guest experience from a practical standpoint, not just an Instagram-worthy one.
Early hotels booking in Seoul requires advance planning during peak tourist seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s legendary palaces, shopping districts, and Korean cultural attractions.

Guest Reviews
It’s a very cozy location, with personality, There are a lot of pieces from all around the world, so welcoming. The bed is comfortable and the room was clean.
This was our second time booking this apartment this year. This time, we decided to book the "Apartment with Balcony" instead of the "King room". Just like the last time, we felt right at home and enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was spacious with great spots to store your clothes. Having a balcony with a decent view was also a welcomed sight. The apartment is nearby a train station (10/15 minute walk) and several bus stations (10 minute walk), depending on where you want to go.
The small self-service cafe at the first floor is also nice to spend some time in, for enjoying a coffee, or reading a book (there were even books in different languages). This time, we also got to meet the friendly host for the first time - but even if we hadn't - communication with the host via the chat was always smooth and efficient.
All in all, this is one of our most favorite apartments and we would love coming back, albeit only one of us two identifies as a foreigner in South Korea.
Location is very close to public transportation and very clean. Stuff is very friendly. I like the coffee space.
The atmosphere is really special.
You can feel at home.
You feel that the place is kept to a high quality standard.
Great view!
The place is peaceful and full of books. The room looks pretty with a lot of light from a big window. The decorations in it exudes a warm and welcoming sense. The owner is great and very helpful to us! Thank you so much for the amazing experience.
Everything - very nice , clean and comfy room
Your condo offered us the best, most comfortable, clean, and hospitable 'space' out of all the ones we have stayed in.
Here is a summary of what we were most satisfied with during our stay:
- Your prompt and helpful responses to our WhatsApp inquiries.
- The exceptional cleanliness of the room and all amenities.
- The 24-hour availability of paid food and beverages, especially for complimentary distilled water and ice on the first floor.
- It's conveniently located with easy bus access from/to Incheon International Airport.
Space in Blackstone will be our go-to place to stay when I visit Seoul again!
The view from the roof top is nice. You will find your room to be spacious and very clean. Shower pressure is good. The coffee shop at the entrance gives a homey feel to the hotel. If needed you could also wash your clothes as they have a laundry. The way to the hotel is rather steep so you get your daily workout for free. The host was very nice and quick to answer any questions. All in all a good experience.
Amazing host, amazing place to spend some days and enjoy Seoul :)
Check in and check out went smoothly. The owner is very kind. It was super clean!!
