You’re literally a two-minute walk from Myeongdong Station, but you’re tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the street food vendors calling out until midnight. Actually, speaking of food, there’s this incredible kalguksu place around the corner that most tourists never find because it’s hidden behind a cosmetics shop – the hotel staff pointed it out to me, which tells you something about how they actually care about your experience. The rooms are compact (this is Seoul, after all), but they’re smart about space in that very Japanese way. Everything has its place, the bed is surprisingly comfortable, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure is fantastic, which you can’t take for granted in this part of the city.
