You know what surprised me most? How quiet it is up there. Seoul’s this constant hum of energy and movement, but somehow all that noise just doesn’t reach you when you’re 100 floors up. The restaurants are legitimately impressive too – not just hotel food trying to be fancy, but actual destination dining. Stay Restaurant has this tasting menu that plays with Korean flavors in ways that made me rethink what I thought I knew about the cuisine. And honestly, even if the food was terrible (which it definitely isn’t), you’d still remember eating dinner while watching planes pass by below you. The infinity pool situation is pretty spectacular too, though it can get crowded on weekends with locals who come just for the experience. Pro tip – if you’re going to use it, early morning or late evening are your best bets for having it mostly to yourself. The 9.4 rating makes complete sense once you’re there; it’s the kind of place that delivers on the hype without feeling like it’s trying too hard to impress you.

  This hotel is absolutely fantastic: the view is breathtaking, bed is heavenly and breakfast in the restaurant “Stay” exceeds the expectations. Staff is very welcoming and polite, and overall we had a great experience. I also enjoyed the diptique products in the bathroom. The hotel is located near a really good and huge shopping mall that has pretty much everything you need. The fitness/swimming pool area is very well equipped, but prepare to wear a swimming cap and be fully naked in the sauna. Salon de SIGNIEL is also a very nice addition to your stay.
