But after spending a few nights there, I actually get why they chose it. The place really does feel like a cozy nest tucked away in the middle of Seoul‘s urban chaos, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re dealing with the sensory overload this city throws at you.

The 8.9 rating isn’t just inflated review scores either – there’s something genuinely thoughtful about how they’ve put this place together. I mean, it’s a 3-star property so you’re not getting marble bathrooms or concierge service, but the staff actually remembers your name after day one, which honestly beats the robotic politeness you get at some of the fancier places. The rooms are on the smaller side (this is Seoul, after all), but they’ve used the space really well – everything has its place without feeling cramped. The beds are surprisingly comfortable too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re walking 15,000 steps a day exploring the city.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night. Seoul never really sleeps, but somehow the street noise doesn’t penetrate much here, so you can actually get some rest before tackling another day of palace visits and street food adventures. The morning routine is pretty smooth too – check-out doesn’t involve waiting in long lines, and the front desk staff speaks solid English if your Korean is as rusty as mine was. They’ve got this little coffee setup in the lobby that’s nothing fancy, but it does the job when you need that first caffeine hit before heading out. Honestly, for the price point and the overall experience, Seoul Nest hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re getting good value without any major compromises. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t, and there’s something refreshing about that approach in a city where everything seems to be competing to be the biggest, newest, or most Instagram-worthy.

  Great location walking distance to Seoul station. Basic room but has everything I needed, good value for money. Appreciated that it was a high quality mattress too so I slept comfortably. There's a coffee machine in the entrance area which was much appreciated.

  The room and toilet is clean, netflix, YouTube, hot water -tea / coffee, hairdryer and other basic amenities are available. The bed and pillow are great! The room size is just nice for a solo traveler. The location is just a few minutes away from Seoul Station so it’s easy for me with heavy backpack to get there.
