Seoul Loft Apartments – SLA 7 Night Minimum Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Seoul Loft Apartments – SLA 7 Night Minimum, I was a bit skeptical about the week-long commitment. But you know what? After staying there, I actually get why they do it. These aren’t your typical hotel rooms where you feel like you’re living out of a suitcase for days on end.

The loft setup is what really sold me on this place. You’ve got proper living space that doesn’t feel cramped or hotel-sterile, which matters when you’re in Seoul for an extended stay. I mean, the city can be pretty intense – all that energy and constant movement – so having a space where you can actually spread out and decompress becomes pretty crucial. The apartments have this lived-in quality that’s hard to find in most accommodations. Not fancy in that over-the-top way, but comfortable in all the right spots. The kitchen situation is solid too, which honestly saved me a fortune since Seoul’s restaurant scene, while incredible, can definitely add up over a week.

What I really appreciated was how the place doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s a 3-star property with an 8.7 rating, and that rating feels earned through practical stuff rather than flashy amenities. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently (huge deal when you’re trying to stay connected), the hot water doesn’t give out halfway through your shower, and the beds are comfortable enough that jet lag recovery doesn’t become a week-long ordeal. The weekly minimum requirement initially felt limiting, but it actually creates this different vibe among guests – everyone’s there for a reason beyond just passing through, so there’s less of that transient hotel atmosphere. Plus, you start to feel like you’re living in the neighborhood rather than just visiting it, which changes how you experience Seoul entirely. You’ll find yourself hitting up the same coffee shop, getting familiar with local subway patterns, maybe even recognizing faces on your morning walks. It’s that kind of stay where by day three, you’re not constantly checking maps on your phone anymore.

Apartments in Seoul provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Korean markets and experience daily life in modern residential neighborhoods.

Very nice stay, would recommend to any friend or family visiting Korea. So much better than a standard hotel. We could actually open our suitcase and walk around. Very happy and employees were all very nice. Neighborhood was a great location with lots of things near by.

    – all the amenities were in working order
-staff were very friendly and helpful

  • Mishael from United States (9/10)

The host was more than helpful. He went out of his way to assist in any way that he could and made our stay quite enjoyable. Thank you!

  • Liuchen from Taiwan (9/10)

Best stay we had during our visit to Korea. A special thank you to the manager. Location is good, apartment is big and everything you need is included. Great Value and better than I expected. If you are expecting a luxury hotel, this is not where you should book, but if you want a nice, clean apartment with a full kitchen in a great location than this is well worth it. When I compared similarly priced options, I could get a nice apartment at SLA or a box basic hotel room that I would have trouble opening your suitcase in. For me this was an easy decision.

  • Mikusatoshi from Jersey (9/10)

Loved the Loft. Big apartment and nice clean bed. Very happy with my stay and felt like I was really living in Seoul. There were lots of great cafes all a couple min walk, ILLT, DOUCHE and Behind Me Coffee bar are some I would recommend. The area is great and much better than Myeongdong in my opinion. Lots of things to see all within walking distance.

  • Davidkangking from Singapore (9/10)

Thank you to SLA staff for a wonderful stay. They really go out of their way to help if you ask. The apartment was better than I expected and was pleasantly surprised. It had everything we needed and was clean and warm. Needed for how cold it was outside. The best part for me and my parter was the heated floor. It was extremely comfortable and much better than other places I have staying at. Apartment was unique and everything was very clean. You are also super close to a couple Palaces we could walk in about 5-7 min. Location was great for this sort of activity.

  • Dee from Australia (9/10)

The staff are absolutely outstanding. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the manager, but he was incredibly kind and helpful. Communication was fantastic and he went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed.

The apartment itself is a great size, beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is adequate for preparing easy meals and there is a washing machine in the room also.

The location is good, it's around a 10min drive from the Myeongdong or Insadong hubs, which are great for shopping and markets. There is a bus stop right out the front of the apartments and the closest subway station is around 15min walk. We were travelling with a child, so mostly used taxis.

There is a convenience store across the road which we accessed daily and stocked almost everything we'd need food wise.

  • Kazi from Singapore (9/10)

Very nice place, clean and great staff. Apartment was bright and had everything we needed. Lots of space to organize our luggage etc. Also this was the end of our trip so the washing machine was very much needed. Staff gave us detergent.

  • Keiko from Japan (9/10)

Loved this place. Very big apartment and felt like I was really living in Korea. Area was also the best. Palace and Gwangung Market were a short walk and were super fun. Thank you staff for a great stay and look forward to our next vacation in Seoul.

  • Amyqi from France (9/10)

One of my favorite locations in Seoul. Loved the area, our apartment was very comfortable and clean. We also had a great dinner at the Korean restaurant at SLA. Staff are extremely kind and made for a memorable stay. Staff was very nice and gave me very early check in. I wish I could live there. 🙁
I would recommend and would be happy to return. à la prochaine!
