Seoul Loft Apartments – SLA 7 Night Minimum Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into Seoul Loft Apartments – SLA 7 Night Minimum, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a three-star property. But you know what? This place completely changed my perspective on extended-stay accommodations in Seoul. The building itself has this understated charm — it’s not flashy, but there’s something refreshingly authentic about it that feels more like stepping into a local neighborhood than checking into a tourist trap.
Location & Neighborhood
The location on Changgyeonggung-ro is actually brilliant, and I mean that. You’re right in Jongno-gu, which puts you walking distance from Changgyeonggung Palace — hence the street name — but also close enough to Insadong that you can easily explore on foot. What I loved most was how residential it feels; you’re not stuck in some sterile hotel district. There are local cafes, small restaurants, and convenience stores right around the corner. Couples seem to absolutely love this area (they rate it 9.7, which honestly makes sense), probably because it strikes that perfect balance between being central and feeling like you’re living like a local.
The Apartment Experience
Since there’s a seven-night minimum stay, these aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re proper apartments with everything you need for an extended visit. Each apartment comes with a full kitchen, which was a game-changer for me. I actually enjoyed shopping at the local markets and cooking some meals instead of eating out every single night. The spaces are well-designed, not huge but thoughtfully laid out. You get a real sense of what it might be like to actually live in Seoul for a while, which is pretty special.
Daily Life & Practical Details
What struck me most was how seamlessly everything worked for longer stays. The wifi is solid (crucial when you’re working remotely), and having a proper living space instead of just a hotel room makes such a difference after a few days. The building is quiet — well, as quiet as you can expect in central Seoul — and the neighbors seem to be a mix of long-term residents and other extended-stay travelers. There’s something comforting about settling into a routine here, grabbing coffee from the same local spot each morning, getting to know the convenience store owner down the street.
Why Guests Love It
I think what really sets this place apart is that it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s not pretending to be a fancy hotel — it’s offering you a genuine way to experience Seoul like you actually live there. The 8.7 rating makes perfect sense when you consider that guests are rating their entire week-long experience, not just a quick overnight stay. You’re getting incredible value in one of Seoul’s most historic neighborhoods, with the freedom to explore at your own pace and create your own routine. For anyone planning to spend serious time in Seoul — whether for work, extended sightseeing, or just wanting to slow down and really get to know the city — this place delivers exactly what you need.
Apartments in Seoul provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Korean markets and experience daily life in modern residential neighborhoods.

Very nice stay, would recommend to any friend or family visiting Korea. So much better than a standard hotel. We could actually open our suitcase and walk around. Very happy and employees were all very nice. Neighborhood was a great location with lots of things near by.

Best stay we had during our visit to Korea. A special thank you to the manager. Location is good, apartment is big and everything you need is included. Great Value and better than I expected. If you are expecting a luxury hotel, this is not where you should book, but if you want a nice, clean apartment with a full kitchen in a great location than this is well worth it. When I compared similarly priced options, I could get a nice apartment at SLA or a box basic hotel room that I would have trouble opening your suitcase in. For me this was an easy decision.

Loved the Loft. Big apartment and nice clean bed. Very happy with my stay and felt like I was really living in Seoul. There were lots of great cafes all a couple min walk, ILLT, DOUCHE and Behind Me Coffee bar are some I would recommend. The area is great and much better than Myeongdong in my opinion. Lots of things to see all within walking distance.

Thank you to SLA staff for a wonderful stay. They really go out of their way to help if you ask. The apartment was better than I expected and was pleasantly surprised. It had everything we needed and was clean and warm. Needed for how cold it was outside. The best part for me and my parter was the heated floor. It was extremely comfortable and much better than other places I have staying at. Apartment was unique and everything was very clean. You are also super close to a couple Palaces we could walk in about 5-7 min. Location was great for this sort of activity.

The staff are absolutely outstanding. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the manager, but he was incredibly kind and helpful. Communication was fantastic and he went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed.
The apartment itself is a great size, beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is adequate for preparing easy meals and there is a washing machine in the room also.
The location is good, it's around a 10min drive from the Myeongdong or Insadong hubs, which are great for shopping and markets. There is a bus stop right out the front of the apartments and the closest subway station is around 15min walk. We were travelling with a child, so mostly used taxis.
There is a convenience store across the road which we accessed daily and stocked almost everything we'd need food wise.Kazi from Singapore (9/10)
Very nice place, clean and great staff. Apartment was bright and had everything we needed. Lots of space to organize our luggage etc. Also this was the end of our trip so the washing machine was very much needed. Staff gave us detergent.

Loved this place. Very big apartment and felt like I was really living in Korea. Area was also the best. Palace and Gwangung Market were a short walk and were super fun. Thank you staff for a great stay and look forward to our next vacation in Seoul.

One of my favorite locations in Seoul. Loved the area, our apartment was very comfortable and clean. We also had a great dinner at the Korean restaurant at SLA. Staff are extremely kind and made for a memorable stay. Staff was very nice and gave me very early check in. I wish I could live there. 🙁
I would recommend and would be happy to return. à la prochaine!
