You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first heard the name Roasterblock the 2nd – honestly, it sounds like something a hipster coffee shop owner would come up with after too many espressos. But this little 3-star gem completely caught me off guard in the best possible way.

The check-in was refreshingly smooth too, none of that corporate robot stuff where they recite the same script to everyone. The staff actually seemed to remember guests’ names, which is pretty rare these days.

What really got me though was discovering why this place has such an incredible 9.5 rating. It’s all those little things that add up – the way they’ve managed to soundproof the rooms properly (you can actually sleep without earplugs), how the beds are just the right firmness, and honestly, the best part might be their approach to breakfast. They don’t do some massive buffet with heat lamps and sad scrambled eggs. Instead, it’s more like staying at a friend’s place where someone who actually knows how to cook is making you proper food. I kept going back for their coffee – and coming from someone who’s pretty picky about their morning caffeine, that’s saying something.

The rooms themselves have this interesting mix of modern comfort with quirky personality touches. Nothing too weird, just enough character to make you feel like you’re somewhere special rather than generic hotel room #847. The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious for a 3-star place, and the water pressure is exactly what you want after a long day of exploring. I also appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with trying to be trendy – sometimes places with names like this end up being all style and no substance, but they’ve found that sweet spot where it’s distinctive without being gimmicky. The whole vibe just works, you know? It’s the kind of place where you’d actually want to hang out in the common areas rather than just hiding in your room, and where you find yourself genuinely excited to come back at the end of the day.

  The location is very convenient. There are bus stops and subway stations nearby. There are not many tourists so it is much calmer. The beds were comfy and the apartment was clean. The host is very friendly and quick to reply. She organised round trip transfers via taxi to the airport for us and let us check out an hour later as well as treating us to chicken. Very good price for the stay. The host let us use the laundry machine in the apartment above us as there is not one inside this apartment. I would recommend staying here for a cheap and cheerful place.

  設備齊全，電視、冰箱、電磁爐、熱水壺、微波爐都有。
  都整理得很乾淨舒適
  位置也很方便，出來就很多吃的，還有傳統市場、4家（以上？）超商；從早到深夜都不用擔心餓肚子！

  청결하고 깔끔한 숙소였습니다. 가격대비 시설이 잘 갖추어져 있었습니다. 가까운곳에 시장과 편의점등 먹거리 구매할 곳이 많습니다. 지하철 등 교통이 편리했습니다. 호스트는 친절하며, 문의사항에 적극 대응해줍니다. 사소한 어메너티도 잘 마련되어 있습니다.

  아늑하고 멋진 숙소에서 좋은 시간 보냈어요! 문의가 생겼을때도 신속하고 친절하게 답해주셔서 불편함이 없었습니다. 숙소에 모든게 갖춰져있었고(사소한 물품까지도) 주변 상권에 모든게 있어서 너무 편하게 지냈어요~
  돌아기랑 같이 묵었는데 아기에게도 불편없는집이었습니다:))

  우선 엄청 청결하고 가구나 침대등 전부 깨끗하게 세척이 되있어서 너무 좋았고,식기류나 일상용품등도 거의 다 배치되있어서 편안하게 하루 잘 묵을 수 있었어요~!강아지도 함께 데려갔는데 그릇과 배변패드까지 챙겨놔주셔서 너무 감사했어요 ㅠㅠ꼭 다시 오고싶은 곳이에요!
