I mean, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but everything works the way it should, and sometimes that’s honestly all you need.

What really won me over, though, was how the place manages to strike that sweet spot between being affordable and actually pleasant to stay in. The 7.6 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but it delivers on what it promises. The walls aren’t paper-thin like some budget places I’ve endured, so you’re not lying there listening to your neighbor’s entire phone conversation at 2 AM. And the cleaning staff clearly takes pride in their work, which you notice in those little details like properly folded towels and floors that don’t feel sticky underfoot. I’ve stayed in supposedly fancier places that couldn’t get those basics right. The common areas have this lived-in comfort that makes you want to actually hang out there instead of hiding in your room, and I noticed other guests seemed pretty relaxed and happy – always a good sign. It’s the kind of place where you might end up chatting with fellow travelers over coffee without feeling like you’re stuck in some forced social situation.

  Great location, a few meters away from Cheonggyecheon Stream. 300 mts from subway 9 minutes walk to Myeondong. Neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly. Amazing experience.

  I like this location. It is very convenient to get to from the airport. It is close to Myeongdong, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Namsan Tower. There are many transportation options around. There are also many restaurants that are open until late, but they don’t disturb my rest (maybe I am not a very sensitive person)

  Great location and very convenient access from the subway station. The room was very clean and although small, it contained everything that was needed for the stay

  Location was very good. We could walk to many of the places we wanted to visit. OMG is really near Jonggak metro station. We also enjoyed the free coffee from the coffeemachine and the drinking water. The rooms are small but with your own bathroom and a good air con. It is a silent place were you can sleep well.

  A staff member was very nice and friendly. Her assistance in every question we had was great. The best location is because it is very close to all the places we wanted to visit and has easy access to transport.
