You can literally walk to Bukchon Hanok Village in about ten minutes, which means you can hit those Instagram-worthy traditional houses early in the morning before the tour groups arrive. The staff actually knows this trick and will give you the best walking routes if you ask. Plus, you’re right there for the weekend Insadong street food scene, and honestly, being able to stumble back to your room after trying too much makgeolli at one of the nearby traditional bars is pretty convenient. The Anguk subway station is close enough that getting around Seoul is effortless, but far enough that you’re not dealing with that constant underground rumble. I was there during cherry blossom season (which gets absolutely crazy in this area), and while the streets were packed, the hotel lobby remained this calm oasis where you could actually think. The 4-star rating feels right – it’s polished and reliable without being stuffy or overpriced for what you get.

  We booked 2 separate rooms with reasonable price to accommodate two young adult kids. Rooms were big enough, clean and comfortable. Hotel was close to many shops and cafes. We visited two palaces and tourists spots nearby. I could hear the bell sounds from the temple but it sounded very calm early in the morning. It was enjoyable stay overall and we will definitely visit again.

  – Room is cosy. Love that there is a sofa area with window view to CBD area so its not so stuffy.
  – Free water dispenser outside rooms so no need to buy bottled water
  – Connected to the mall with many nice restuarants and GS25 convenience store at lobby area. We went everyday!

  The room was big and clean. The views from the city were stunning and it is in a good location to navigate the city and to go to the airport. To note: it is connected to a mall with a 24h convenience store and other shops/restaurants (great if arriving late & tired).

  The location is great ; Insadong street is just behind the hotel connected by a small mall. Many dinner options near the hotel and also a 5 min walk to the famous Artist bakery. Hotel staff were helpful with directions. Impeccable daily housekeeping- super attentive always made sure there are refills of soap and toilet paper.
