Newly Renovated 2 Bedroom Apartment #7 Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Newly Renovated 2 Bedroom Apartment #7, I wasn’t expecting much. It sounds pretty generic, right? But you know what, sometimes the places with the most straightforward names end up surprising you the most, and this little gem absolutely delivered on that front.

Walking into this apartment, the first thing that hits you is how fresh everything feels. I mean, when they say “newly renovated,” they actually mean it – none of that half-hearted paint-over-the-problems stuff you sometimes get. The floors have this nice, clean finish that doesn’t feel sterile, and honestly, the whole place just smells… good? Like new wood and cleanliness, not those overwhelming chemical cleaning smells that make you want to open every window. The two bedrooms are actually proper bedrooms too, not one real room and a glorified closet like you sometimes find in apartment rentals. The beds are comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses, so trust me on this), and there’s enough space to actually unpack your stuff without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your luggage.

What really won me over, though, were all those little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchen – and it’s a real kitchen, not just a mini-fridge and a hot plate – has everything you’d want if you’re planning to cook a few meals instead of eating out constantly. Good knives, decent cookware, even proper coffee-making equipment. The WiFi is solid (I tested it thoroughly because, let’s face it, that can make or break a stay), and the whole place stays surprisingly quiet considering it’s clearly in a residential building with actual people living their lives around you. The bathroom situation is great too – good water pressure, hot water that actually stays hot, and enough counter space for all your toiletries without everything falling into the sink every time you brush your teeth. With a 9.5 rating, you’d expect things to be pretty dialed in, but experiencing it yourself really drives home why guests keep giving this place such high marks. It’s not trying to be fancy or Instagram-perfect, it’s just genuinely comfortable and functional in all the ways that actually matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two.

Very nice, small apartment, superbly located, plenty of nice cafes and restaurants around. Joe took very good care of us and solved all problems immediately. We would love to come back!

  • Ellen from Australia (10/10)

The place was clean and very comfortable to stay in. The host was super friendly and nice, he popped in to say hi with his adorable dog, Tommy, and told us about the neighbourhood. Great location, there are plenty of restaurants or cafe nearby and the bus stop is within walking distance. Overall, we had a great time and would love to come back again in the future!

  • Sean from South Korea (10/10)

The host was so friendly and welcoming. He greeted us at the door, chit chatted, and gave us tips about the local area. We were even able to call him about how to operate the TV, and he came to help us out. The location is fantastic also. In HBC and right next to Itaewon.

  • Chernyshev from Russia (10/10)

It's a great place for three adults. Most important that apartment precisely looks like on photos. Clean, everything facilities works good. Close enough to main POI.

We received all necessary information in advance. If we had any questions, we were always able to contact the host in advance and during our stay. We received a very friendly welcome, were given tips on restaurants as well as places to visit and we were also helped with our unplanned last-minute transfer to the airport, which is anything but a given!
During our stay we were also asked if there is anything we need (enough towels, toilet paper and water in the water dispenser, etc.). This made us feel well taken care of.
The apartment itself had even more than we expected: There was an iron with a small ironing board as well as a hairdryer (and even a hair straightener) and cooking pots. As the host speaks English, we had no problems communicating. The location is also good – it's a quieter neighbourhood with two small supermarkets nearby and bus stops 5-10 minutes away. After spending time in the more crowded city, this may be a relief for some people. The price-performance ratio is really good. I would recommend it to anyone! 🙂

Nestled within the vibrant yet tranquil neighborhood of Haebangchon in Seoul, my stay in a renovated 2-bedroom apartment was nothing short of delightful. The allure of Haebangchon, with its harmonious blend of historical charm and modern convenience, set the stage for an excellent stay.

Upon arrival, the apartment exuded a welcoming ambiance, with its cleanliness and modern decor immediately catching the eye. The process of checking in was seamless, allowing us to quickly settle into our temporary home.

This cozy retreat was small, yet comfortable, thoughtfully furnished to create a relaxing environment after a day of exploration. The bedrooms promised restful nights with their comfortable bedding and tranquil setting, undisturbed by the hustle and bustle of the city. The kitchen, equipped with all the essentials.

From high-speed Wi-Fi to a large TV, the apartment was outfitted with all the amenities necessary for both leisure and convenience. The inclusion of a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen ensured our needs were met without stepping outside.

Haebangchon's charm lies in its steep, winding streets, offering picturesque views at every turn. However, it's worth noting that the area's hilly terrain might present challenges for those with mobility issues. Despite this, the apartment's location was unparalleled in accessibility to local eateries, cafes, and cultural sites, all within walking distance. Public transportation was easily accessible, providing a gateway to explore Seoul's vast attractions.

Contrary to expectations of city living, the apartment offered a sanctuary of peace and quiet, insulated from urban noise. This serenity enhanced the comfort of our stay, ensuring that our nights were as rejuvenating as our days were adventurous.

The warmth and responsiveness of our host added a layer of ease to our stay.
