Hongdae’s nightlife scene is right there too, but far enough that you won’t hear drunk college students singing karaoke at 3 AM.

The Han River Park access is the real gem here though – it’s one of those things that transforms your whole Seoul experience. Instead of just rushing between subway stops and tourist sites, you can actually walk along the water in the morning with your coffee, watch locals doing their morning exercises, maybe rent a bike if you’re feeling ambitious.
