The location is honestly kind of ridiculous – and I say that as someone who’s stayed in plenty of “centrally located” places that turned out to be a 20-minute hike from anything interesting. This one’s different. You’re literally three minutes from Euljiro 3-ga station (I timed it), which means you can hit up the famous Myeongdong shopping district without dealing with the tourist crowds sleeping on your doorstep. The building sits on this quiet side street that somehow manages to be peaceful despite being smack in the middle of everything. I actually slept really well here, which surprised me given how central it is. During the day, you’ve got street food vendors just around the corner – there’s this ajumma who makes incredible hotteok that’ll ruin you for the tourist versions – and at night, it’s surprisingly mellow.

What really sold me though was the view situation. They weren’t lying about the high floor part – I got this glimpse of Namsan Tower between the buildings that made me feel like I was in some K-drama establishing shot. The room itself was clean and modern, nothing fancy but everything worked properly (the shower had actual water pressure, thank god). The whole setup feels more like staying in a local’s apartment than a typical hotel, which I mean as a compliment. There’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try to wow you with marble lobbies but instead just gets the basics absolutely right. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but for exploring Seoul on foot and actually experiencing the city rather than hiding from it, this spot is pretty much perfect. Plus, having Bukchon Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace both within easy walking distance means you can do the whole traditional Seoul thing without the subway transfers. Honestly, if you’re the type who wants to wake up and just wander rather than plan every move, you’ll probably love it here.

  This apartment was very close to the Myeongdong area, which was right across from the building. Very well located and the room was clean and the convenience store downstairs was very handy. We had a very nice stay and have only good things to say. We will definitely recommend this apartment!

  The location is superb, close to both Chunmuro & Eujilro 3 ga metro stations, so you can move around with line 1/2/3/4 easily. If coming from Seoul Station (Airport Railroad), there are two buses stop directly in front of the accmmodation! (Better than taking metro.) Within walking distance you can reach all major touristic spots in downtown Seoul. All the facility in the studio is smart and comfy, making you feel a home away from home in Seoul.
