The location is what really makes this place shine though. Being right in Seoul‘s shopping heart means you’re literally surrounded by street food vendors, late-night skincare shops, and those bustling underground shopping areas that Myeongdong is famous for. I actually loved being able to grab hotteok (those sweet pancakes) from a cart practically outside the front door, then retreat upstairs when the crowds got overwhelming – which they definitely do, especially on weekends. Plus, being so central means you’ll probably spend most of your time exploring anyway – the subway connections are incredibly convenient, and you can walk to Namsan Tower if you’re feeling ambitious. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to be right in the thick of things without dealing with the stuffiness of a big international hotel chain.
