Marriott Executive Apartment Seoul Overview
Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of serviced apartments across Asia, and the Marriott Executive Apartment Seoul honestly stands out in ways I wasn’t expecting. When you first walk into the lobby, there’s this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look how fancy we are” – it’s more like stepping into a really well-designed friend’s place, if your friend happened to have impeccable taste and a serious budget.
What really got me was the space itself. I mean, you know how most hotel rooms make you feel like you’re living in a shoebox? Not here. The apartments are genuinely spacious, with separate living areas that actually make sense for longer stays. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either – I actually cooked a few meals using ingredients from the local markets, and everything worked perfectly. The washing machine was a godsend too, because honestly, who wants to pack three weeks’ worth of clothes? The view from my unit looked out over Seoul‘s sprawling cityscape, and I’d catch myself just standing by the window in the evenings watching the city lights flicker on. There’s something mesmerizing about Seoul at dusk – the way the Han River cuts through everything like a silver ribbon.
The location puts you right in the thick of things without the chaos of being too central. I could walk to several subway stations within ten minutes, which opened up the entire city. The staff here actually remembers your name after a day or two, and they’re genuinely helpful with local recommendations – not just the touristy stuff, but places where you’ll find the best jjigae or which convenience store has the freshest kimbap. One front desk manager, Sarah, pointed me toward this incredible hole-in-the-wall barbecue place that I never would’ve found otherwise. The building itself stays surprisingly quiet, even during peak tourist season – I think it’s the way they’ve designed the corridors and common areas. Check-in was smooth as silk, no waiting around, and they had my preferences noted from booking (I’d mentioned I needed a higher floor due to street noise sensitivity). If I had one tiny complaint, it’s that the gym gets pretty crowded around 7 AM when all the business travelers hit it before work, but honestly that’s such a minor thing. This place just works for both short business trips and extended stays – you get the reliability and service standards you expect from Marriott, but with that apartment-style freedom that makes you feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary local.
The concierge service in Seoul can arrange exclusive palace tours at Gyeongbokgung, secure private K-beauty workshops, and organize trips to nearby Jeju Island and the DMZ border zone.

Breakfast was amazing, they had a little something for everyone. and every morning was a little different from the last but the service was consistant. Kind of disappointed they didn't offer couple massagaes but overall there weren't anything problematic with our booking. We used the subway which is a little walk but not too bad. The rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable. I also wish to brag about the room servicebeing fast, kind and just going beyond. They really did make my stay the best.

Convenient location near a Metro stop in Yeouido. Quiet neighborhood. Restaurant in the property as well as a 7-11 convenience store. Comfortable room with housekeeping, laundry facilities and great view from our room. The Marriott Executive Apartment is well maintained and our room was vey nice. Housekeeping staff did a great job when making up our room. The Front Desk staff were exceptional employees who were always helpful when we had questions or needed information. They were very kind and genuine and we enjoyed seeing them every day. We totally enjoyed our stay at the Marriott.

Everything was fabulous! The room was extraordinary, the staff was amazing and the breakfast was some of the best I’ve ever had. The 7/11 in the same building was amazing. I loved everything about this hotel.

We are family of four (2 kids 2 adults). The hotel staff have been super helpful and friendly right from the very beginning to the end of our stay. They were friendly to the kids and gave them small gifts (it was halloween) and colouring gift boxes. Every where we go there are smiley faces. Room is spacious and clean. Convenient store under the hotel so we can buy things that we need. Breakfast was nice and they even helped to take photos and put our kids face on our cappuccino. We didn’t ask for it. The staff have been so eager to help and we are pampered.

Overall the stay was very comfortable. Particularly notable was the efficiency and attentiveness of the staff, most capable of good English communication. The room had the best washing machine-drier, kitchen implements and coffee machine among all serviced residences and hotels I have been in.
