Luxury hanok with private bathtub – SN13
Your Seoul Retreat
You know what really surprised me about Luxury hanok with private bathtub – SN13? I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the name – it sounds sort of generic – but this place completely caught me off guard in the best way possible. Walking into a traditional Korean hanok after dealing with Seoul‘s concrete jungle feels like stepping through a portal, and I mean that without being dramatic about it. The wooden beams, the ondol heated floors, the way everything just flows together… it’s actually pretty remarkable how they’ve managed to preserve that authentic hanok feel while sneaking in modern touches that don’t feel jarring.
The private bathtub situation is where things get interesting though. Most hanoks I’ve stayed in make you feel like you’re roughing it a bit (which honestly can be part of the charm), but here they’ve carved out this perfect little soaking space that feels both traditional and indulgent. I spent way too much time in that tub after long days wandering around the city – there’s something about soaking in hot water while looking out at the traditional courtyard that just hits different. The water pressure’s solid too, which you can’t always count on in older buildings. What I really appreciated was how quiet everything gets once you close those sliding doors; Seoul can be pretty intense sound-wise, but inside here it’s like the city just melts away.
The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be a five-star international hotel, and honestly that works in its favor. The staff actually knows the neighborhood really well, and they’ll point you toward little spots that aren’t in your guidebook. I got some of my best meal recommendations from them, places I never would’ve found otherwise. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, no unnecessary fuss or trying to upsell you on stuff you don’t need. One small thing – the floors can get pretty cold in winter even with the ondol system running, so pack some decent socks or slippers. Also, if you’re not used to sleeping on firmer surfaces, the traditional bedding takes a night or two to adjust to, but honestly most people find it more comfortable than they expected. It’s one of those places where the whole experience just feels authentic without being touristy about it, if that makes sense.
To book hotel in Seoul during the vibrant cherry blossom season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts K-culture enthusiasts and modern travelers from around the world.

Guest Reviews
Great location, lovely quarters
Bed very comfortable.
Style was traditional and lovely atmosphere.
Fun to have the rooftop bath (more like a basin though) but a shame that people from street could see you from above.
The views were stunning .
Authentic Korean traditional-styled interior,
Comfy bed and pillow, and the view. Balkon was the best of this offer
Decor
