Located at 91-20, Huam-ro in the dynamic Yongsan-gu district, this modest yet charming establishment offers guests a genuine Seoul experience with a satisfactory rating of 6.4. The hotel’s strategic position in Yongsan-gu places it in one of Seoul’s most historically rich and well-connected areas, known for its blend of traditional Korean heritage and modern urban development. From Koon House, guests can easily access Yongsan Park, the sprawling green space that was once a military base and is now being transformed into one of Seoul’s most ambitious urban renewal projects. The nearby Yongsan Station serves as a major transportation hub, connecting visitors to Seoul Station, Itaewon’s international district, and the shopping meccas of Myeongdong and Dongdaemun with minimal travel time. For those interested in Korean history, the National Museum of Korea and the War Memorial of Korea are within reasonable distance, offering profound insights into the country’s rich cultural heritage and modern transformation.

The unpretentious nature of Koon House makes it particularly appealing to travelers who plan to spend most of their time exploring Seoul rather than remaining in their accommodation. Its functional approach to hospitality focuses on providing clean, comfortable spaces where guests can recharge after days filled with sightseeing, business meetings, or shopping excursions. The hotel’s position in Yongsan-gu places it in a district known for its evolving character – an area that maintains pockets of old Seoul charm while embracing the city’s forward-looking energy. Culinary enthusiasts staying at Koon House will appreciate the neighborhood’s diverse dining options, ranging from street food vendors serving traditional Korean snacks to established restaurants showcasing the full spectrum of Korean cuisine. The hotel’s reasonable price point, reflected in its 3-star status and 6.4 rating, offers visitors the opportunity to allocate more of their travel budget to experiences rather than accommodation expenses – a sensible choice for those wishing to immerse themselves fully in all that Seoul has to offer. Whether using Koon House as a base for business endeavors or cultural exploration, guests will find themselves well-positioned to discover the multifaceted personality of South Korea’s dynamic capital city.

  • Nisa from Malaysia (9/10)

The house is a bit hidden but the location wise is excellent as it is near to Seoul Station. The house has everything you need for your stay. There's coffee shop, mart nearby. Easy to grab a taxi if dont feel like taking train for the day. The landlord also was very accomodating and helpful to ensure we have a great stay, which we did. Its also within walking distance to namsan tower but be mindful that the area is quite hilly and you may be out of breath once you reach namsan tower 😉 Overall it was a good place to stay 🙂
