I mean, you can walk to most of the main attractions (the castle is practically right there), but when you come back in the evening, it’s not like you’re fighting crowds or dealing with street noise all night. The rooms are… well, they’re exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star – nothing Instagram-worthy, but the beds are comfortable, the AC works properly, and the bathroom has decent water pressure. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious my room felt, especially compared to some of the cramped places I’ve stayed in similar-sized towns.

The real charm of this place is in the details that matter when you’re actually traveling. The front desk guy – I think his name was Ahmad – knew exactly where to find the best local food and wasn’t just pointing me toward tourist traps. There’s free parking right there (which, trust me, you’ll appreciate), and they’re pretty flexible about storing luggage if you arrive early or need to check out late. The breakfast is simple but fresh, and you can sit outside on their little terrace area where you get these glimpses of the fortress walls while you drink your coffee. It’s one of those moments where you remember why you travel in the first place. The 7.5 rating makes perfect sense – this isn’t a luxury experience, but it’s exactly what you want when you’re exploring somewhere like Karak. You’ll sleep well, the location puts you right where you need to be, and you won’t spend your whole budget on the room. Sometimes that’s the perfect combination.

  Snídaně v restauraci v přízemí platí se zvlášť na místě. Na mě trochu moc asijská (mořské rostliny s masem ve vodě…) Přes ulici nonstop otevřený obchod s potravinami a soju, takže ok. Na pokoji konvice a kafe a čaj k dispozici. Dále kartáček na zuby, pantofle, v koupelně tekuté mýdlo, šamon a kondicioner. Metro 200m, autobusy z/na letiště do 200m.
