The lighting is particularly well thought out (something you don’t notice until you’re trying to read in bed, trust me). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed at night – the area can get pretty buzzy during the day with all the cafes and galleries, but once evening hits, it settles down nicely.

The whole Seoul hipster scene is kind of concentrated in this part of town, which means you’re walking distance from some genuinely cool spots that most tourists never see.
