HUB INN Seoul 2023 외국인 전용 Overview
Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first heard about HUB INN Seoul 2023 외국인 전용, I was a bit skeptical about the whole “foreigners only” concept. But after staying there, I actually get it now. This 3-star spot has figured out something pretty clever about what international travelers actually need when they’re navigating Seoul for the first time.
The thing that struck me right away was how the staff just… gets it, you know? They understand that you might not speak Korean, that you’re probably confused about the subway system, and that you definitely need help figuring out where to find decent coffee at 6 AM. I mean, the front desk folks switched to English before I even opened my mouth, which honestly felt like a small miracle after a 14-hour flight. The rooms themselves are nothing fancy – think clean, functional, with that minimalist Korean aesthetic that grows on you. The beds are firmer than what most Americans are used to (typical for Korea), but I actually slept better than I expected. What I really appreciated were the little touches: power adapters that actually worked, a decent shower with water pressure that didn’t make me want to cry, and – this might sound weird – but the curtains actually blocked out light properly. Trust me, when you’re dealing with jet lag, that matters more than you’d think.
The 8.1 rating makes perfect sense to me because this place knows exactly what it is and doesn’t try to be something else. It’s not trying to compete with the fancy hotels in Gangnam, and it’s definitely not pretending to offer luxury amenities. Instead, it focuses on solving the real problems you face as a foreign visitor – language barriers, cultural confusion, that overwhelming feeling of not knowing how anything works. I overheard other guests talking about how the staff helped them figure out T-money cards for the subway and recommended actual good restaurants nearby (not tourist traps). The location worked well for me because you’re connected to Seoul’s excellent public transport, but you’re not paying premium prices for being right in the thick of everything. Sometimes you want to retreat somewhere that feels a bit more approachable after spending a day trying to decode Korean menus and navigate the organized chaos that is Seoul’s streets. The only real downside I noticed was that it can get pretty busy – apparently word has gotten out about this place among the backpacker crowd and digital nomads, so book ahead if you’re traveling during peak season. But honestly, that energy kind of adds to the experience. You end up chatting with other travelers in the lobby, sharing tips about what to see and where to eat. It’s got that informal hostel vibe without the shared bathrooms and mystery stains.
Seoul hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in South Korea’s bustling capital, known for its innovative technology, K-pop culture, and historical palaces.

Jacques from France (9/10)
The host was amazingly nice and helpful, she answered our last minute booking request even though she was in another city and had to come back to let us in. She took care of all the details and made us feel so welcome. The apartment was clean, the area is central and very lively even though the street is very quiet. We definitely recommend this.
The bed of the master bedroom was a bit hard, but very good for the back, it was a traditional mattress.Toucourt from France (9/10)
