Hotel Nafore Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about Hotel Nafore? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or over-the-top amenities, but somehow ends up being exactly what you need. I mean, when you see it’s a 3-star property, you might lower your expectations a bit – but honestly, this place punches well above its weight class, and that 8.4 rating they’ve got makes total sense once you’ve stayed there.
The whole vibe here is refreshingly straightforward. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day (which is rarer than you’d think), and they seem genuinely interested in making sure you’re comfortable rather than just going through the motions. I noticed they keep the common areas really clean without that sterile hotel smell you get sometimes – it just feels lived-in but well-maintained, if that makes sense. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully laid out, and whoever designed the lighting actually understood that people need to read in bed without blinding their partner. Small thing, but it matters when you’re trying to unwind after a long day.
What I really appreciate is how the place operates – there’s no pretense here, just solid hospitality. The breakfast setup is simple but they don’t skimp on quality, and the coffee is actually good (I’m picky about this). You’ll find the lobby stays pretty quiet in the evenings, which is perfect if you want to catch up on work or just decompress with a book. The whole property has this calm, unrushed feeling that’s getting harder to find these days. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with marble everything or a rooftop infinity pool, but sometimes you just want a place that does the basics really, really well. And honestly? After staying at places that charge twice as much for half the genuine warmth, Hotel Nafore feels like finding a hidden gem that hasn’t forgotten what hospitality actually means.

The reception is good, the breakfast is good, coffee is available for free throughout the stay, the smile never leaves their faces, and they are ready to provide any service inside or outside the hotel. We did not find the location easily.

This hotel is not cheap but given Seoul seems expensive (also judging by scanning other hotel options) we were pleasantly surprised by the good quality and thus value for money we received. This includes very spacious rooms, a good inclusive breakfast and cute little roof terrace with some tables, chairs and a nice view (especially at night). Two times went up there it was just us with our drinks and snacks, playing cards and enjoying the view – fab!
The location is convenient with 2 metro/subway station very close (5 minutes walk) as well as a local high street with all kind of shops and restaurants. It is also in walking distance of Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, a popular attraction for visitors and locals on evenings and weekends for food, drink and strolling around.Ami from Japan (9/10)

Great location to visit Seoul. The hotel is located in the hub of subway,1,3,5 route, so it's very convenient to transfer to every famous spots of the city. Furthermore, the room is cozy, clean and large with a decent price. Nearby the hotel, it's easy to find local restaurants and stands, within walking distance from subway station, Jongno 3rd street. Suggest to take exit with the escalator.
