Hotel Gracery Seoul
Your Seoul Retreat
You know what caught me off guard about Hotel Gracery Seoul? The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how travelers feel after a long flight or train ride. I mean, the lighting isn’t harsh like so many hotels do – it’s warm and honestly makes you want to just sink into one of those oversized chairs they’ve got scattered around.
The 4-star rating feels spot-on here. They’re not trying to be the fanciest place in Seoul, but everything works exactly like it should. The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully compact – you’re not swimming in space, but there’s a logic to how everything’s arranged that makes sense when you’re actually living in it for a few days. The beds are properly firm (thank goodness), and I actually slept well, which doesn’t always happen when I travel. What really impressed me was the attention to small stuff – like, the shower pressure is legitimately good, and the blackout curtains actually block out light completely. You’d be surprised how many places mess up these basics.
The 8.7 rating from other guests makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. The staff genuinely seems to care about solving problems rather than just being polite, which goes a long way when you’re figuring out a new city. They’ll actually give you directions that make sense instead of just pointing vaguely down the street. The breakfast situation is solid – not mind-blowing, but there’s enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying for several days, and they do this really good job with both Korean and international options without making either feel like an afterthought. I found myself looking forward to the morning coffee ritual they’ve got going on – there’s something satisfying about starting your Seoul exploration properly caffeinated. Honestly, this place strikes that sweet spot where you feel comfortable coming back after a day of walking around the city, but you’re not paying for a bunch of amenities you’ll never use. It’s the kind of hotel that just works, you know?

Guest Reviews
Loved everything about this hotel! The view from my room was amazing - I could see the palace! The design of the room was very comfortable. Loved the separation of the toilet from the shower/tub room. AC was strong and air ventilation great. There is a convenience store right downstairs and many restaurants in the alley behind. Location was awesome - walking distances to subway stops. There was a laundry room with a strong dryer which was very helpful. Convenient business center with quick printers, helpful for business travelers.
nice breakfast , great location, comfortable
Breakfast is good - we stayed for 5 days and there is something different to try everyday.
I recently stayed at Hotel Gracery Seoul, and I was thoroughly impressed with the convenience of its location. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of Myeong-dong, making it perfect for exploring the vibrant shopping and dining options in the area. Whether you're visiting for leisure or business, the central location offers great accessibility to public transportation and popular tourist attractions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of Seoul
Location
Comfortable, good staff that speaks reasonably good English, good breakfast and the staff in the breakfast area also work very hard and are attentive.
Location was great, but the room was small.
Clean and well located hotel with a great view of Seoul, nice and quiet apart from some street noise but it wasn’t disturbing.
The room had a nice view. I booked the 3 twin bed for 2 people, so it was a little cramped. Breakfast was pretty good 6/10. Location was close to a lot of things, but public transportation nearby will get you anywhere. I only used a Taxi once (elderly mother) to get Seoul Station. Staff was very nice.
Great japanese-run hotel with amazing and functional facilities. Room was clean and quiet and breakfast was very delicious. Very convinient location to everywhere in Central Seoul. Can highly recommend!
