Hotel Crescendo Seoul Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Hotel Crescendo Seoul, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes those mid-range hotels surprise you in the best way possible. This place has that comfortable, unpretentious vibe that actually makes you want to hang out in the lobby instead of rushing straight to your room.
The thing about staying in Seoul is that location really matters more than fancy amenities, and Crescendo gets this completely. I mean, sure, you’re not getting marble bathrooms or a rooftop infinity pool, but honestly, who has time for that when you’re out exploring one of the world’s most dynamic cities? The rooms are clean and functional – think modern minimalist without being sterile. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathrooms are compact but well-designed. Actually, the shower pressure was better than some 5-star places I’ve stayed at, which is saying something.
What really won me over was the staff’s approach to hospitality. They’re genuinely helpful without being overly formal, and several speak decent English if your Korean is rusty like mine. The front desk gave me some solid local restaurant recommendations that weren’t just tourist traps – places where I ended up eating alongside office workers and families, which is exactly what I wanted. The breakfast isn’t elaborate, but it hits the right notes with both Korean and Western options. I found myself actually looking forward to the simple spread of rice, soup, and banchan each morning rather than fighting through some overwhelming buffet situation. The coffee’s decent too, though if you’re serious about your caffeine, there are incredible specialty shops within walking distance. One thing to note – the elevators can be a bit slow during busy periods, but honestly, that just gave me more time to practice my Korean numbers with the other guests.

Reviews of Hotel Crescendo Seoul
Anuar from Kazakhstan (8/10)
Hotel location was very good: easy to reach by metro as well as bus. However, I reached the hotel by taxi from the airport.
Hermione from Taiwan (9/10)
There's a good taste of the hotel design, yet it was a shame that some parts of the interior were covered due to the renovation.
The staff were so friendly and supportive, their instruction of the shuttle bus 6703 from the hotel to Incheon airport was very helpful.Karlo from Croatia (8/10)
Breakfast was good. Not so much stuff to choose from but you can order stuff from the chef (for free) and his cooking is delicious.

The bed was very comfortable!
Zoubeïda from France (8/10)
The location was quite good. 3-4 minutes away from a metro station, 10 mins away from COEX and Bongeunsa temple, not to far from Lotte mall & park either. Although it's not in Myongdeong, Insadeong or Hongdae, and actually at least half an hour away from these places, there are tons of really nice neighborhoods nearby, espacially if you like great shopping & brunch cafés (Apejeongrodeo) rather than going out at night.
The staff was much nicer and helping than what the other comments stated, and I don't speak a word of korean. Although the room was small, it had nice amenities (coffee machine, good AC, daily bottle of water, small fridge, japanese toilets, nice hair & body products..)Aziza from Kazakhstan (9/10)
Great location, clean hotel.
