Hotel Aventree Yeouido
Your Seoul Retreat
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Hotel Aventree Yeouido, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes those mid-range hotels surprise you in ways the fancy ones don’t. This place sits right in the heart of Seoul‘s financial district, and while that might sound boring, it actually works in your favor if you know what you’re doing.
The lobby has this clean, minimalist vibe that feels very Korean – not trying too hard to impress, just quietly efficient. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, though the front desk staff’s English is sort of hit-or-miss depending on who you get. The rooms are smaller than what you’d find in Western hotels (this is Seoul, after all), but they’re thoughtfully laid out. I mean, whoever designed the bathroom storage actually understood that travelers have stuff to put places. The beds are firm – really firm – which took me a night to get used to, but I slept better by the third day than I had in weeks.
What I really appreciate about staying here is the location without the tourist chaos. Yeouido feels like where actual Seoul people work and live, so you get better food prices and authentic spots within walking distance. There’s this incredible Korean BBQ place about two blocks away that I stumbled onto – no English menu, packed with office workers at lunch, absolutely perfect. The hotel’s neighborhood gets pretty quiet after business hours, which is either great for sleep or slightly boring depending on what you’re after. If you want nightlife, you’ll need to hop on the subway, but honestly, Seoul’s metro system makes that no big deal. The 6.8 rating seems about right – it’s not going to wow you with luxury touches, but everything works properly and the price point makes sense. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was in Seoul for business or wanted to experience a less touristy side of the city.
Hotels near me in Seoul offer convenient access to the city center, where guests can easily walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Myeongdong shopping district, and authentic Korean BBQ restaurants.

It was quick and easy
No free breakfast
The place is near the National Assembly and a few minutes of walking to several subway stations. The nice thing about the hotel is that it is literally surrounded by multiple 24-hour convenience stores, beautiful quaint cafes, and other restaurants.
Small Outdoor smoking area
Had a good deep sleep on a luckily rather hard matress (lots of walking around on a dmz tour in cold weather)... Korea 2 : 1 Portugal
For Seoul standards an absolute value for money hotel. On 8 minutes walk from the subway, located in a quiet part of the city. Room with a perfect view. Just a normal, average and good hotel.
good
Nice staff. Big room. Cheap.
