There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole place that I found myself really appreciating after staying at so many cookie-cutter hotels lately.

What struck me most was how genuinely homey it feels (I guess the name isn’t just clever marketing after all). The lobby has this lived-in comfort that reminds me more of a well-loved bed and breakfast than a typical hotel – think mismatched but cozy furniture and staff who actually remember your name after the first day. The rooms aren’t going to win any design awards, but they’re clean, comfortable, and have that “everything actually works” vibe that’s honestly more valuable than fancy fixtures that break when you look at them sideways.
