There’s this great little convenience store literally around the corner where the ajumma running it started recognizing me by day three, and the morning crowds heading to the subway give you that authentic Seoul hustle feeling without being overwhelming. The palace guards do their changing ceremony at 10 AM and 2 PM, and you can actually hear the drums faintly from the apartment on quiet days – which I thought was pretty cool, though some people might find it distracting.

What surprised me most was how well-equipped the kitchen actually is. I’m talking proper cookware, not the usual sad single pot you get in most short-term rentals. We ended up cooking way more than planned because there’s a traditional market about a ten-minute walk away where you can grab fresh vegetables and banchan. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in typical tourist accommodation. Sure, it’s not fancy – this is a solid 3-star situation, don’t expect marble countertops or anything – but everything works properly, the wifi is reliable, and honestly, the beds are more comfortable than some 4-star hotels I’ve stayed at. The bathroom could use a bit of updating (the shower pressure is just okay), but it’s clean and functional. One thing to note: if you’re a super light sleeper, the street-facing bedroom picks up some traffic noise in the morning, but nothing too crazy. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward key-passing dance you sometimes get with apartment rentals.

  Everything about the apartment was excellent. Very clean, comfortable beds, great washer and dryer for laundry. The location is also excellent, and convenient to bus stops, subway stations, restaurants, and the palace. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

  We were 4 girls on a trip for more than a week in korea and the house accommodated us perfectly. Washer (soap inc), dryer (drying rack inc), steam iron, kitchen, hairdryer was included. The owner was very friendly even helped us to the house the first time even though it was past midnight. Provided us with bottled water. responded to texts quickly. Super close to the palace (could see it walking out the house). Bus stops and subways are just a few mins away. Convenience stores and a daiso is near the place.

  위치가 너무 좋았습니다. 주변에 맛집도 많고 역하고 그렇게 멀지 않아서 좋았어요. 골목에서 나와서 고개 돌리면 바로 경복궁 옆길이 보일 정도로 경복궁도 가까워요. 침대도 3개나 있어서 좋았습니다. 칫솔은 없었던 것 같은데 샴푸, 컨디셔너, 바디워시, 치약, 클렌징폼 등 샤워에 필요한 건 다 있었어요. 냉장고에 물도, 화장실 수건도 넉넉한 점 역시 너무 좋았습니다.

  작지만 있을건 다 있는 깨끗하고 배려가 넘치는 숙소였습니다. 경복궁, 광화문, 삼청동 등 핫한 지역에 접근이 용이한 교통까지 편한 숙소여서 좋았습니다.
