Courtyard By Marriott Seoul Times Square Overview
Honestly, when I first walked into Courtyard By Marriott Seoul Times Square, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, it’s a business hotel in what’s essentially a massive shopping and office complex. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in all the right ways.
The location is pretty genius when you think about it. You’re literally connected to Times Square mall (which, despite the name, has nothing to do with New York’s version), and the subway connections are incredible – Yeongdeungpo-gu Station is right there, so getting anywhere in Seoul is a breeze. What I really appreciated was how quiet the rooms stayed despite being in such a busy area. The soundproofing is solid, which matters when you’re trying to sleep off jet lag and there’s constant activity below. The staff genuinely seemed to care about getting things right – check-in was smooth, and when I had questions about getting to Hongdae late at night, the front desk guy actually drew me a little map showing which subway exit to use. Those kinds of details stick with you.
The rooms themselves hit that sweet spot between functional and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but everything works properly – the shower has decent water pressure (trust me, this isn’t always a given in Seoul hotels), the bed is firm without being rock-hard, and there’s enough space to actually open your suitcase without doing yoga moves around it. I stayed on the 15th floor and had this unexpectedly nice view of the Han River in the distance, especially pretty at sunset when the light catches the water just right. The business center and fitness room are small but well-maintained – I used the gym around 6 AM and had it completely to myself, which was perfect. What really won me over was the breakfast situation. It’s not included, but there’s this little café on the ground floor that does surprisingly good coffee and pastries, plus you’ve got the entire food court in the mall if you want Korean breakfast options. The whole setup just makes sense for travelers who want to be connected to the city without dealing with the chaos of staying in Myeongdong or Gangnam. With an 8.4 rating, it’s clear other people have figured this out too – it’s become sort of a reliable choice for both business travelers and tourists who prefer staying somewhere that feels less touristy but still gets you where you need to go efficiently.

Although a little bit dated, the room was very nice and bed & bedding were really comfortable. The staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel for my friends.
Jing from Australia (9/10)
Great hotel conveniently located in the same building as TimeSquare shopping center and 3 mins walk from Incheon airport bus 6007 (about 50,000won by taxi) and subway station. Staff is friendly and courteous and even gave us free breakfast for our kid. Room itself is clean and tidy albeit decently sized comparing with similar hotels. I wish there were complimentary bottled waters but they are cheap and easy to get from near by convenience stores so no big deal. The buffet breakfast is decent with a good mix of Western and Asian options too.
Adelina from Macao (8/10)
The room is cleaned and tidied everyday.

Times Square Mall is right outside the front door. Across the road towards the Lotte Store are plenty of bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes.
