ChuSTAY Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about ChuSTAY? I walked in expecting another cookie-cutter three-star place, but honestly – this spot has something different going on. The lobby isn’t trying too hard to impress you with fancy marble or whatever, but there’s this relaxed, almost residential vibe that actually makes you feel like you can breathe for a second after dragging your luggage around.
The staff here – and I mean this – they actually seem to give a damn. I’ve stayed at plenty of places where you get that glazed-over “welcome to our hotel” routine, but the front desk person remembered my name the second day and asked how that restaurant recommendation worked out. Small thing, sure, but it’s those details that stick with you. The rooms are clean without being sterile, and honestly the beds are way more comfortable than you’d expect from a three-star. I’m someone who usually tosses and turns the first night anywhere new, but I slept straight through. The bathroom’s compact but functional – good water pressure, which is honestly half the battle when you’re dealing with budget-friendly places.
What I really appreciate is how they’ve managed to keep things simple without cutting corners where it matters. The WiFi actually works (I know, revolutionary concept), there’s decent coffee in the morning that doesn’t taste like it was filtered through cardboard, and the whole place just feels… I don’t know, genuine? Like someone put thought into making guests comfortable rather than just checking boxes on some corporate checklist. The location puts you close enough to get around easily without being right in the middle of tourist chaos – you can actually get some sleep at night, which honestly is worth its weight in gold. I’d definitely crash here again, and coming from someone who’s pretty picky about where I lay my head, that’s saying something.
Seoul hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in South Korea’s bustling capital, known for its innovative technology, K-pop culture, and historical palaces.

We stayed in Chustay for a week with 2 toddlers. The host is so accomodating, even prepare toys & snacks for the girls!! I feel so welcome and the place is just home away from home. The location is just 5-7 mins easy walk to subway, and there's supermarket just 2 mins away, making it so convenient for me. If you're looking a real authentic Korean home (and not touristy), this is the one! We lovedddd our stay and can't wait to be back and recommend it to our friends and family
