I mean, most tourists don’t realize the best time to explore the traditional architecture is around 7 AM when the light hits those tiled roofs just right and locals are just starting their day. From my room – and this might vary depending on which side you get – you could catch glimpses of the old rooftops between the newer buildings. The rooms themselves are well-appointed without being fussy. Good blackout curtains (crucial if you’re jet-lagged), decent-sized bathroom, and the beds are actually comfortable, not just hotel-firm. One small thing that made a difference: the mini-fridge was properly cold, which sounds silly but you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case.

The location really is the star here, though I won’t lie and say it’s perfectly quiet – you’re in a living, breathing part of the city after all. You’ll hear some street noise, especially on weekends when people are out exploring the cultural sites nearby. But honestly? That’s part of the charm. You’re not stuck in some sterile hotel district. Parking can be a bit tight if you’re driving, but most people don’t need a car from this location anyway.
